When people said he was a poor man's Anthony Davis, i see that they weren't kidding.

He has been nothing short of being spectacular so far in the summer league. Is shooting at above 50 percent, can shoot even out to the three point line, rebounding very well , blocking shots and even making timely passes. Last night vs the celts summer squad he and Harris at times toyed with our taller guys. Sullinger struggled dearly vs Harris and Henson. Hensons wingspan in an incredible 7'5 and it really makes a difference on both ends of the court.

I wonder if we could of traded our 1st two round picks for the  bucks 14th and got Henson. I'm not stating i still don't have hope for Sully and Melo but Henson with added bulk to his wide shoulders, looks like a surer bet he will have a good future in the nba.

I think about 5-7 teams passing him up will regret their decision in doing so also.

It's summer league.   But I knew the kid could play.   We didn't have the option to draft him I was hoping.

No way Danny was going to risk getting burned again. JjJ was a big disappointment. Henson could end up having the same issues.

Why are Henson and JJJ similar again?  Because they're both skinny?  At least Henson didn't struggle in summer league after a year of professional basketball like JJJ did.  That right there puts Henson far ahead of the curve than JJJ.  Henson was a far superior rebounder and shotblocker than JJJ in college.

He's just a better prospect than JJJ and based on how he looked his junior season and in this summer league, he's starting to fulfill the offensive expectations that were expected of him coming out of high school.  At that time he was compared to Durant, which subsequently looked ridiculous because he was very offensively challenged his first two seasons but he's got a good looking stroke and very smooth footwork in the post.

It's not he got away. He's a projected lottery pick from the get go, we'd have to trade up to get him. And the talent pool on PF's in this year's class, it'll be too risky to trade up for him when we will be imposition to get a PF with pretty much has the same upside (even though not the same skill). Trading up for him would also mean losing the other pick.

I agree though, he's been good. Bucks' 4 spot's future is pretty nice with Udoh and Henson. Both good defensive players and a developing offense.

Henson is still not very good. You will see when he plays in the NBA vs real big men.

for one him and JJJ are know where near the same lol. Henson is a real big as he don't take jumpers all day and utilizes his post moves. I don't watch college so i only watched every team in the summer league. Henson is far past many of the PF's that showed...

And you said wait till he plays against real PF's in the NBA....uhhh thats about 3-4 teams he has to worry about....andi guess according to what your saying...jjj couldn't even ball VS the "fake" PF's lol
