What do you guys think? seeing over the past two years how our defense has played with KG out of the lineup it seems like we might have underrated Mr. Intangibles and his ability to spread the floor. Thoughts? I mean it can't be any worse than Jason Collins on this roster...right?

I really, really, REALLY want Scal to join CSN and replace Donny Marshall on the telecasts.  Scal was very good when they had him on, and I could easily see him transitioning into doing that gig long-term.  So much more personable, and he's still got a strong connection to the franchise.  Plus, Donny would be gone!

I think he could help this team on the defensive side of the ball honestly.

If we get Scal to work one-on-one with Melo and Sully every day and they will be all-stars in no time.  And no, I'm not kidding.  KG might be an awesome mentor but even KG doesn't have basketball IQ of Scal.  Think about it- you and I are better natural athletes then Scal and he still somehow carved out an NBA career for himself in an era where athleticism comes before all else- the man is a freaking basketball genius.  We need to lock him up (in a coaching role) before someone else does.

I don't think theres a spot for him on the team now, but we do need a big man coach. It would be nice, and he can mentor with Lue under Doc, maybe become an assistant?

I do think he could really help Sully. Mainly bcuz he could work on the pick and pops and rebound positioning.
Top that off with defensive rotations, and Sully could kick start his career sooner as Ainge had predicted
Can't stop, Rondo!
