He'll be missed in that he was fun to watch and a guy who you really root for.

On the other hand, he shouldn't be the hardest guy on the planet to replace.

I am really happy for the guy.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
Peace out Greg, and thank you. Good vibes for the guy, he greatly exceeded expectations. Who predicted he'd be important to out rotation at this time (relatively;lockout) last year?

I'm gonna miss yelling AIR STIEMSMAAAAAA the few times he dunked the basketball.

now we need someone else to fill the goofy white guy role :/

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Already a thread, but I'd be intrigued to know what else your sources say. Any chance the Celtics are trying to get Blatche, Darko, Birdman, or Haddadi?

You obviously weren't watching the 2nd half of the regular season.

Happy for the steamer. He did what he was told and now he's getting paid. Fortunately he wasn't really a huge loss to this squad.

Good riddance. He was lucky the celtics were desperate for a big man and kept him around long enough for him to earn a real contract. I was always hoping the team would not lose ground every time he entered the game. Not what you want as a best case scenario from your 2nd best center.

Maybe now we can sign a legit backup center.
