Would have preferred Moore as our 3rd PG, but now that he is out of the equation who do people like. Doc and Danny were both raving about Smith. Is there anyone else out there we should be looking at for the min.

Dooling, and for that matter Daniels too.  Both know the system, know their roles, and are able to step in at a moment's notice when injuries or foul trouble pop up. 

That is exactly what you want from a 3rd string player.

Now if Doc or Danny really feels that someone like Christmas has rotation potential, so be it. However, I only keep Chrismas if they feel that way. Otherwise I keep the vets. There is no point in developing a player whose upside is the 3rd string of his position.

Dooling no doubt. Dooling would be 1,000 times better than Moore as well. His presence in the locker room is greatly undervalued and he was a more than sufficient defender for us last season. He gave us great needed energy in the playoffs.

Dooling, in a landslide!

He's a good lockeroom presence, solid but not spectacular player, knows his role and won't complain, and is ready on the bench to step in in a moments notice.

Why waste the spot on young "projects" who have little to no chance at ever being rotation players anyway.  We're trying to win a chip, not host a charity event.

on a semi side note where did dis random love fest for Dooling come from? lol I remember dat "What would you trade Keyon Dooling for" thread dat was live nd kickin after every regular season game nd most of da playoffs now a majority of those posters who roasted him want him back as a backup? mad confusing yo lol

While Dooling sucked for long stretches last year, he was a good locker room guy, and played more consistently toward the end of the year.  I'd take him over another rookie.  Championship contenders shouldn't be carrying 4 or 5 rookies.
