Am I missing somebody or does the depth chart look like this

C: KG, Wilcox, Melo
PF: Bass, Sullinger, Jeff Green

We all know how little Doc likes playing rookies.  I would really feel more comfortable if we could bring Stiemsma back or somebody of that caliber so that Wilcox could spread his time between the backup C and PF spots.

This is even more crucial because im hoping KG plays only 20-25 minutes per game during the regular season
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

yeah i feel you man this has been my only gripe for the offseason thus far. i feel we filled every hole except a starting C as KG doesn't want to play it and I don't feel he'll last the whole season starting there. Maybe theyre planning on starting wilcox for a while or something. I don't know but I'd like to reduce KG's minutes at C, and in general, as much as possible.

Now that Kahns offseason is screwed, i think he wont sign Stiemsma, but hes a vindictive SOB it seems, now that portland screwed him with Lee trade,he might just do it.

If he doesnt we gain big man depth, then should add Blatche or Birdman, plus Pietrus and call it an offseason.

Greg is a big key (to me)  I'll like bringing wilcox back as a big who can run and rebound.  Would love to see steamer as a shot blocking center to this team.  I still can't help but think if sully really gets into a groove is bass expendable?
As of now is wilcox the starting center?  If so we are loaded at pf position, kg, bass, sully, green.

i thought the steamer deal was as good as done. whats the status on that? would definitely love to have him back at the BAE, could seriously reduce KG's C mins.

Stiemer vs. Darko vs. Birdman

I'd lean toward Chris Andersen, just because he's a superior rebounder.  It depends upon how his health is, and what's going on with his criminal investigation, of course.  If those check out, though, he'd bring more this season than our other center options.

Thanks Roy, but you agree that we need to add another body right?

Yeah, definitely.  Outside of our starters, there are some pretty big questions marks.

they still have 2 spots IMO left...one will go to Christmas the other to a FA big

Having the BAE is big...my guess is they resign steamer or try to attract someone else

I prefer blatche..he is a knucklehead but I feel the Cs could get him to buy in...getting him on the cheap would be a steal

Yes please bring on the Birdman!

For the BAE or vet min he'd be a steal.  He is still producing.  Quality rebounder, garbage scorer, and help defender.

Wow yikes... didn't realize Da Birdman was available.   I'd agree with this too , the "Birdman" can be a nice active game changing big.  If he is healthy , he can fight/ aggitate /enforce with the best of em.  He is a load to put on Noah to settle him down.  I like the way he can disrupt the other teams game., like Rodman use to . Non conventional big, but effective against certain teams for sure.  Take him over Steamer .

Big men have become so overrated in this league.

We do need to add another big but clearly it hasn't been a priority.

Can't understand some of these signings for mediocre big men out there.

Spencer Hawes?Omer Asik? Kwame? Ahhh yeah ill just take Wilcox for 1 mil instead
