Let no one ever doubt Danny from now on. Please look at the roster he has assembled before you address this post. He has blown it up without blowing it up. How did he do this.

He got young in a hurry without blowing it up. He did it with acquisition of youth, and athletic players. Butthat is not what has me excited about this team. What has me excited about this team is that it is full of character guys. These are solid players with great character, and they will be a TEAM.

You look at other clubs even teh fakers with their attempt to 'steal' another franchise player and you wonder if they can have the necessary chemistry with primadonnas like Kobe and DH. You wonder if there are enough balls on the court to satisfy the needs of Nash and Kobe to have the ball. There is no such feeling about the Celtics because all these players have defined roles and a great number of them take pride in playing DEFENSE. We have a pass first PG who is an assist fiend. Having players who can run with him and give him his assists will make Rondo happy as am alcoholic that just got a gig in a brewery.

This team just transitioned from the BIG THREE ERA to the RAJON RONDO ERA.

This team is going to be a fast break team and most baskets will be scored without KG even making it to center court.

Kudos to DA for blowing it up without any fanfare.

Now go get us a BIG Danny.

In DA we must NOW TRUST.

The best thing is we still got the BAE which could land us someone else solid on top of everything

Pietrus maybe?!

Danny is genius.

I don't see us going after Pietrus (or him wanting to return really) as we're currently constructed.

BAE should got to a big guy as it stands.

It would be nice just to make us that much more stacked could always use a defender like him to sick on somebody. What bigs out there are we looking at thought that we couldn't land with the vet min?

I don't know really what the big's market is at the moment. But if it's for "insurance" as Pietrus would really be, I'd rather hold on to the BAE going forward.

By the same token, I'm quite content with filling the rest of the roster with Pavlito and Dooling, which will be around vet. min. guys.

But if there's a big you can use, who's not sure of where he wants to go, and offering the BAE gets it done, I won't lose sleep over it as much as I would like to not use the BAE at the moment.

Good point yeah holding off could be a good thing depending on what's out there. Looking around most bigs available seem like vet min guys though.

in danny we should always trust (even before this - he brought KG to boston!!!)... seriously man, he's a pretty good drafter, and a brilliant deal maker - so even if he messes up a draft, he'll figure a way around it... and a tireless worker - which i love most of all.
