Houston Boxers: The 2012 CB Draft team with the highest "I told you so factor" in the game. That will be two years in a row for me.

Unless of course, you Lebron hating voters don't vote Lebton to win it all again this year in Dallas.

KG at center. Ricky Rubio. 2011 that title belonged to THE Walker Wiggle.

So if you had to choose one guy who would vastly out pace his draft position and his expectations from commenters, who is it?

I told you Rubio would hit a rookie wall and end up below average. I was right.

Rodrique Beaubois, 12th draft pick. he will stay healthy, and his shooting stroke will return. Big year for Beaubois in Dallas and hence Houston.

Certainly the biggest risk/reward, but didn't he have a major injury? They've got collison, West, Mayo, and who else as guards?

I would've said Lin or Montie. Wouldve liked to have grabbed Montie in the 7th, but Parsons is a more known quantity, and I didn't think I could afford to let that sit.

Considering their roster, and depending on Monties ability to play nba defense, I could see him getting 15 and 8 in 30 minutes behind Asik and White. I don't think Patterson will garner many minutes, and Marcus Morris is his main competition.

Waggle, yours has to be Teltovic, right?

Btw, I'm wicked bullish on the incoming euro crop. Shved, De Colo, Montie, Teletovic, PJ Tucker in Phoenix (although he's not really a Euro), I think they'll all be rotation players at least.

It's been a lot of fun, hat tip to everybody. But if I may ask one favor, would you all just put down some dismissive comments or mediocre projections RE: Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, whoever. Tommy points to all participants. It just makes it much easier for me to find mid-season.

KC I'm looking at you right now. Thanks in advance.

WW on his 2009 team

Quote
Monta Ellis Dips his hands in hot wax before games.

Only the ninth guard in league history to shoot at least 60 percent from the field for a MONTH. And the youngest?

That and the four straight 30+ point games during that stretch caused the often inane Stephen A. Smith of ESPN to raise his own game to new levels!

Quote from: Stephen A. Smith

He has enough potential to be as dominant as Jordan, maybe even better.

Did somebody leave the hype machine on?!

Yes, yes they did.

Betting on your guys people seem to be way cooler on, or even flat out dismissive of, at odds to be settled on. For instance, I think Jimmy Butler and Alexey Shved are going to look like complete steals, guys who would've gone multiple rounds earlier if we could do a redraft later on in the season. Anyone else wanna try to flesh out the game with me a little?

Compare them end of season to the NBA average player at their position? Hoopdata shout out.

Can I take Anthony Davis? Guys here hate him. Otherwise, Teletovic, Biyombo, Burks.

Where did you find that? Can I get a link? I'm not mad that you had to go all the way back to 2009, son. But I'm on my phone right now so somebody tell me how far past the second round Monta fell this year? Third round?

Anyway, KC hyperbole aside please do let me know what you dislike about Manu and Iguodala? What you expect from Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson? You kneecapped me in the standinga and are riding a bunch of youtube videos to the Pacific division title. I'm just asking for some in depth criticism.

Fixed that for you, bro. Sorry my work schedule has kept me from commenting on just about anyone's team. So if anyone else feels kneecapped, mea culpa.

As for your team, I don't like the unknowns. I don't like that no one knows how good Davis will be his rookie year or how good Teletovic actually is. Will Darrell Arthur ( Whom I love) bounce back from his injury or will you be relying on Bismack Biyombo? I really don't like injury prone Delonte West and injury prone Josh Howard backing up injury prone Manu Ginobili. Just way too much uncertainty. If it all works out, kudos to you. But in a game of perception, I can't get past what I don't know on this team.
