My presumption is Lee is the starter (as Terry is a natural sixth man and used to thriving in the role). AB is gone for the start of the season recovering from his shoulder surgeries.  With Lee starting with Rondo assuming they click (likely) does this put AB  coming off the bench with Terry when he comes back?  What do you think

They may play the matchups, and use Lee for bigger SGs that Bradley might not be able to handle as well. One thing's probably sure, Bradley won't be moaning about it like the last starting SG we had.

i would say that paul pierce is more in trouble than anyone. courtney lee can play small forward too - and you have jeff green and kris joseph there too... i think dannys final move this off season may be trading paul piece for a true center.

One would hope not...but then again AB hadn't had a 16 year hall of fame career and was supplanted by a second year player that had his first extended run of success as a pro filling in while you were injured.  IJS

Bradley has actually shown success against bigger twos but I think if Lee has the job to start the season and the chemistry is good AB will be coming off the bench, but I think he and Lee might get a fairly even split of minutes as long as Bradley can be as effectively offensively if not he'll get TA type minutes.

Man this is getting sad. People in here need to step up there knowledge of the game.

Courtney Lee at small forward?

Paul Pierce would probably slap you silly as would Doc for that statement.

If he traded Pierce for a center I think Green would start, not Lee.

Nope -- if Bradley can play anywhere near what he was doing late last year, Bradley > Lee by a fairly hefty margin.

Avery will be back to coming off the bench where he has been much of his career anyway. I think he can be a lockdown guy off the bench for us. Lee has legit SG size and is a deadly shooter. Avery is a nice scrappy guy but he's not better than Lee for starting SG..

yeah i know, courtney would be the backup SF/SG much like pietrus' role last season.

it's possible. if bass actually played some small forward on d during the miami series, anything is possible.

Yes it is in  jeopardy just like any 21 year old player who  played well for 2 month's would be like.

I thought this if Ray came back as well. You need to earn your starting spot. Bradley earned it last year but for a young kid like that and for the limited success he's had there is no way that he just is guaranteed a starting position. Whoever plays better will start and that's how it should be. Especially for a young'n

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Terry is our back up point he'll get extra minutes from what Bradley and Lee leave behind. I think the starting job is Lee's until Bradley proves he's health and last year wasn't a fluke. Lee is solid, but I think the Bradley we saw starting is much better.

That's my take on it too.
