What you add players to complete roster of the C's?

 In my honesty opinion,Celtics need two or three more players.

 I don´t know if Stiesnma(he is going to Wolves probably), Pietrus or Dooling come back.

 Needs:

 Celtics need a shooting-guard /combo guard and a center.

 Who would you choose?

 Guards/small forwards:

 - Courtney Lee (would be sign&trade, complicated)
 - Delfino
 - Delonte
 - T-Mac
 - Barbosa
 - AI
 - Nate
 - Delonte
 - Terrence Williams
 - Martell Webster
 - Michael Redd
 - Josh Howard
 - Return Dooling (for me don´t resign, poor offense)
 - Return Pietrus (don´t resign, he´s very incosistent)

 Centers:

 - Milicic
 - Mohammed
 - Blatche
 - Landry (Is he avalaible )
 - Joel Przybilla
 - Return  Hollins (don´t resign, he has not rebound and poor offense, he should be in the D-League)))

 My options are:

 Guards: Lee, T-Mac, Barbosa, Delonte. My dream would be Iverson, but I know this option is almost impossible.

 Center: Blatche or Mohammed.

 Lee is a player who would help us a lot on offense and three points, T-Mac still can bring off the bench and Barbosa is a fast and versatile player. Delonte, he already knows Boston and the Doc´s system.

 Blatche for me is the best possible option, a need.

 To compete with Miami and Lakers, Boston must sign 2 or 3 players.

Pietrus. He was hurt last year in The Playoffs and couldn't make a single shot... but even with that he still played great defensively and made a huge impact on the game.

He also gives us a tall option at the SG which we need behind Avery and JET.

I concur.  Had wanted Pietrus for years and would really like to see what he can do for the Celtics when he is healthy.

What about this Dionte Christmas kid too?  Are people factoring him into the battle for a spot?

There is some value in signing back guys who know system and you know will not complain about minutes. It's easier to think about it when you see it on depth chart with non-guaranteed deals in ()

Williams is a gone IMO.

Assuming nothing crazy, I'd guess they try and get one of Dooling or Pietrus, plus Darko.

Depending how they feel about Moore, he could be gone so they can keep both Dooling and Pietrus.

UPDATE: I'm OK with that roster. I think they have ability to make some moves during the season as they will have guys on different sized deals and some young talent that people might like.

Well...it looks like the market is drying up...the Suns will not go after Lee and that means really that his options are less...If lee is serious about playing on a contender..Celtics are the only ones that can provide that as well as a starting and key role on the team..

I also think in the end it will be Pietrus. the market is drying up quickly and the BAE, a starting role in a city he seems to love will sway him...I prefer Lee first, then peaches and finally delfino

I'd love courtney lee to be here but it seems pretty unlikely now. With all the Delfino talk swirling about, i wonder, would the C's be better off signing delfino or t-mac?

i mean, tmac is no longer an all-star, that's for sure, but he'd be terrific off the bench imo. guy who can somewhat penetrate and create his own shot, who has great size for a guard, who has great handles and also possesses terrific court vision. sure the athleticism and just flat out owning teams is a thing of the past, but we don't necessarily need that coming from someone off the bench.

We have 13 or less. Two players I want in to complete the roster are:

1. Blatche st PF/C
2. Bill Walker at SG.

I'm really surprised we haven't heard T-Mac rumors with the Celtics. He fits pretty good with this team, a SG with good size that's a pretty good defender and can still get going offensively at times. He'll be able to come off the bench when Bradley comes back.

T-Mac - Delfino - Barbosa as our 2 would be good.

I would definitely give Nazr Mohammed a look if he signs for the vet minimum.

Rondo - Terry - Moore - Christmas

Moore and Christmas both make the team as backup combo guards that can both play spot minutes at both PG and SG.
