I am a white person. I like when white players do their thing in the NBA cause it shows we can ball. I do however find whats going on in Minnesota suspicious. They now have 8 white players signed for next season. In the landscape of the NBA, I find it hard to believe, that without actively trying, that a team could become mostly white. I am not suggesting David Kahn is racist, but I am definetly wondering what his, or the owners, or probably both's motives might be. I understand Kevin Love- he's a superstar. I get Rubio- hes a potentially great point guard. I understand Pekovic and JJ Barea both of whom are great role players, but now with the signings of Alex Shved and Robbie Hummel it looks, to the naked eye, like the Timberwolves are most definetly targeting white players. Maybe hes trying to emulate the 80's celtics after K Love got some Bird comparisons (unrightfully so). I guarentee, though, that Red never specifically targeted white players. I find it a little creepy and i wanna get your guy's thoughts.

If they're truly racist they'd only be targeting black players...right?

so Batum is white? I know his offer got matched but they wanted him pretty bad. I think this is a reach to be honest.

So in your eyes are white players only allowed to play in the league if they are great?   Most of the guys in the league are role players.  I think you are looking for a problem that does not exist.

They target the best players available in the draft(in Kahns mind) and the best free agents willing to play in Minny. Just the way the cards fell, no white conspiracy here.

Yeah, it is peculiar to me too.  What are the odds that one team can find so many white guys who can supposedly play, when other teams only find one or two?  I've noticed over the years that Utah always seems to target white guys too.

Does this mean all the other teams are targeting black guys?
