Report: Cavaliers enter trade talks with Lakers-Magic on Howard trade. http://cbsprt.co/MJ3cGs

Would send Varejao to ORL, Bynum to CLE.

Andrew Bynum loves Cavs coach Byron Scott and loves PG Kyrie Irving, says source close to him.

it all comes down to Bynum if he agrees to go Cleveland and sounds he'd be ok with it from these comments, now its up to Howard. Its making me pretty sick thinking about it but whatever :-X

What other assets are they getting from Cleveland?

I will say, I love the idea of Bynum in Cleveland.  That will be interesting to watch as a basketball fan.  He has a chance to be really special if he is on a team that will use him, and let him really dominate the paint, and I think he will be a good fit with Irving.

As a C's fan, I am not thrilled, but looking at the bright side here.

Perfect fit. Unlikable player on an unlikable team. Hope Howard enjoys being the scapegoat when the Lakers lose to the Thunder again.

"The Cavaliers would land Lakers center Andrew Bynum for a package of draft picks and veteran power forward Anderson Varejao, according to one league source."

Howard, Gasol, SF, Kobe, Nash.

Yucky.

I still don't get how Orlando prefers that kind of return to what they could get from Houston.

WAIT BUT THERE'S GOOD NEWS

If Dwight doesn't go to Houston, Houston is in rebuilding mode. They hang on to Lin and try to get expendable contracts to get Dwight in the offseason, meaning they're far more likely to S&T with us for Lee.

All Orlando is getting is Varejo and picks? I think i can run the magic better than the GM. Awful trade for them. Magic will have the worst record in the NBA
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Depends on what picks and players are coming from Cleveland. They could like them better than what the Rockets have to offer.

that is very true did not think of that, there were reports if they landed Dwight theyd keep Lee around as they remain close from the Orlando days if thats not the case then theyll probably unload him

As I'm sure nickagneta would agree, the Irving / Bynum combo is a good one to build around.

(Pick 2 Draft represent.)

it is Bynum sees that and the main factor probably is he's just sick of Kobe and hates Brown

Well, some people prefer that to mediocrity.

I still don't get how the Lakers can get Howard straight up for Bynum? Or what will they have to give up?

I don't understand the details of this either.

But if Howard goes to the Lakers, it's over. Sorry, if they remain healthy, it just is. He makes up for defensive liability on the perimeter, gives them control of the boards, an inside present for Kobe to work off of, and imagine he and Nash on pick and rolls? Makes me want to vomit, especially after the offseason we have had.

Edit: Know I'll get flamed for this, and I hate it as much as anyone... but I believe it to be true.

If this is true I kind of hope Dwight is traded to the Lakers, signs a max extension, and then has perpetually debilitating back issues for the rest of his career.  It would kind of serve all parties right.
