According to an NBA source, Jason Terry just signed his contract with the #celtics. Its official. Terry signs for mid-level exception

Now what?
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Now we get the best defensive SG we can find who is 6'5" or taller.

If that's 'Quis or Pietrus, so be it.

This was to be expected, with all option for a S&T exhausted with Dallas.

The plan is still to try and convince Houston to do a deal with us for C. Lee.  If not, I expect Danny will be able to get Pietrus for something around the BAE.

Quis has been a good soldier. And loyal to us like we were to him when we brought him back last season after the injury. He played his role like a professional like he's always been known to do and in fact did a heck of a lot more then i ever expected. But for his own health and whats good for our club i wouldn't mind parting with him and maybe taking a flyer on Christmas. Moore should be there as well though. I think they've both earned their spots. They can then start passin to the bigs now..

Please?

Ray really scuwd us. That's why Danny's so bummed. He didn't have an appropriate backup plan, like trading a future 1st for a 2nd round pick when Doron Lamb, Will Barton, Orlando Johnson, and Kim English were on the board.

Picks were going for pretty cheap, too.

If JET does not work out we may have to start talking about the curse of the MLE :)

I think he is a real nice fit for this team.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Get Pietrus and/or Delonte ASAP.
I'd say Pietrus and let Moore have a shot at becoming an NBA player. If Delonte is still available for vet min, throw him on the bench as well and we'll be very deep.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

It would be VERY difficult to find a better 'swiss army knife' guy then Quis for the veteran minimum, who has no care about playing time.

You're talking about a guy who has the size, athleticism, passing rebounding and ball handling skills to play either PG, SG or SF equally capable.  He's god a solid post up game against smaller guards, he can take it to the hole, he's got a solid midrange game, and he can defend three positions on the floor.

To add to all of that he's a very strong defending and he gives you his 110% effort every single night he is on the floor.

Guys like that are hard to find, and IMHO he's about 10,000x better then JaJuan Johnson...
