I would do a lot of questionable, unsanitary, perhaps self-derogatory things to bring Delonte back to Boston. He's one of my top ten human beings on this earth.

And I'm dead serious.

7 TPs - all by tomorrow a.m.

Thank you.

I would definitely take him at this point with both Mayo and Lee likely gone. But yea, that ship may have sailed.

I honestly don't think Danny has any desire to bring Delonte back.  We could have easily done so last season, but chose not to.

Personally, I like Delonte as a player.  I just don't think Danny, or Doc, really see him as a good fit for the lockeroom.

I wonder how West and Terry played when they were on the floor together last year. I wouldn't mind it. I don't know how much worse he is than Lee, and he will definitely be cheaper. He can knock down open three's at a good clip, can bring the ball up, and plays good D. Could be half the price of Lee, thus giving us some wiggle room in case we need a signing midseason.

I'd throw the BAE at him. Don't know if it would be enough, but who knows with Delonte. I know health is always a concern with him, but he is more of an insurance policy than anything. We'd have 96 minutes at the G positions to give Rondo, AB, and Jet. Add in Pierce and Green able to give a few minutes at the two, we would be set.

Still, I'd like Delonte back.

yeah Doc hinted the last year he was here and into the offseason about certain guys not being good for the lockeroom think he was one of them

Delonte and Quisy are two players that could be incredibly valuable for the minimum.

Rondo/West/Moore
Bradley/Terry/Quisy
Pierce/Green/Rookie
Bass/Sully/JJJ
KG/Wilcox/Mallo

There's a pretty nice roster, but I don't think they want Delonte's sillyness around.

Do we have a guard over 6'3"?

Did 'Quis guard Wade as well as I seem to remember?

He's a nice defender and has that great post game.  He could start at 2 while Bradley is out so Jet can be 6th man.

Yeah definitely. I wouldn't mind Queezy back at all. When we actually play him decent minutes, he serves well defensively and is solid offensively AS LONG AS HE DOESN'T TAKE JUMPERS, and goes with the flow of the offense. Defense is key.

Personally, I would welcome Delonte back any time though.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

I would be fine with Delonte. I think he might be better the Lee anyway.

whay are the Celtics not more interested in bringing Pietrus back - the guy loves being a Celtic and should improve his second year under the team's system.

i love Mikael Pietrus.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Pietrus is the dude. But it's not him fitting with the system that would be the issue, it'd be whether pr not he hits shots this year.
