Anthony Randolph to sign with Nuggets; Chris Andersen to be amnestied

The Denver Nuggets will cut Chris "Birdman" Andersen from its roster and sign in his place Anthony Randolph, a source said Tuesday. Denver used the NBA's amnesty clause to waive the seldom-used Andersen, a source said.

I've always liked Randolph, he's still such a young player and he has tremendous potential. If George Karl and the rest of the Denver coaching staff can tap the potential of him, Javale McGee, and Danillo Gallinari - that can be a formidable frontcourt for years to come.

I don't really understand Denver signing Anthony Randolph. I don't think that partnership will work out. I don't see where the minutes are coming from. Looks like another wasted year for Anthony Randolph.

I try not to hold offcourt issues against athletes (I'm notoriously pro-Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo) but the allegations against Chris Andersen are just... too much. I don't want that guy in a C's jersey. I'd be disgusted.

Id like to see how this plays out first before taking a shot on him. But admittedly before when he was a free agent i wanted us to sign um.
