Is Jodie Meeks still out there?  Great shooter, and he had nice defensive metrics last year despite being a bit undersized.

Kind of Jason Terry-lite?

S&T JJJ, Sean Williams and Moore (both non-guaranteed), along with a 2nd round pick next year for Brandon Rush on a 3 year deal starting at $3.5mil. I'd prefer to trade the Cs 2nd but would part with the Bobcats 2nd if need be. GSW is thin at PF -- considering their offensive style they might want to take a chance of Johnson.

I would target Anthony Morrow from the Hawks.  Maybe a S and T with Dooling at $2.7m.  Since Morrow was just traded, it would have to be a player for player trade.  Are S and Ts allowed in this situation?  Morrow for Dooling and Charlotte's 2nd round draft pick in 2013.

I did not know we could trade for a player who just got traded. Will add when what is needed is confirmed (since if we could use a pick it would mean a world of difference).

Anthony Morrow is definitely intriguing. But I won't put him too high on the list since he's mostly going to be a role player at this point. But as a project he's intriguing.

Kind of Jason Terry-lite?

Last "Official" transaction was Philly declining to offer the QO, making him UFA. Good pickup if it's true about his defense.

I just checked his metrics again.  He must have fallen off late in the year, because he ended up around average overall in terms of defense.  In January / February, he'd been much better than that.

How would you rank them?

1. Courtney Lee
Is both a good prospect and a ready contributor. Likes Doc and will come slightly cheaper. Fit and has talent. Need more be said?

2. Brandon Rush
Had a great season. Love his game. Young, athletic, plays defense. Can defend the 3 as well. Can shoot as well. Only problem is whether he is attainable (like Lee).

3. Leandro Barbosa and Ronnie Brewer
Barbosa is one of the better/best targets who has stayed relatively healthy. The Brazilian connection with Fab helps. But skills overlap with Terry, is undersized again and he's on the slightly older side. Oh, and no defense. Price is a question again. But I'd be glad to have him here.

Brewer is surprisingly not mentioned much here. Good defender, athletic, young-ish kind of like Rush. Can also defend both wings. But is a subpar scorer and can't create. The scoring part is not a problem, though, as he can feed off our core.

4. CJ Miles
CJ Miles is younger. Less of the defensive behemoth (still decent though) that Brewer is apparently but more versatile on offense (sources are NBA 2k12 and google so please correct if wrong).

5. Pietrus
Might be overpriced, especially for an older option. Hence the lower ranking.

6. Randy Foye
Younger and healthier than Pietrus but is more one dimensional and smaller. He showed up big in the playoffs though.

.
.
.

7. Josh Childress
Injury prone and less of a defensive player than Pietrus. Being bigger and younger than Rip Hamilton helps though.

8. Martell Webster and Rip Hamilton
Webster is unproven (but has at least stuck around in the league) and, as others have said, a slight bit too much of a project. Rip Hamilton is old and apparently has health problems. Both are risky.

9. Dionte Christmas and Terrence Williams
Neither are proven. Terrence Williams's ceiling is higher and is a better player but his work ethic has been pulled into question.

Off the market:
Lou Williams (Hawks) - Would have been nice for the money
Gerald Green (Pacers)
Dahntay Jones (Mavs)
OJ Mayo (Mavs)

1. Courtney Lee
2. CJ Miles
3. Brandon Rush
4. Ronnie Brewer
5. Mickael Pietrus
6. Rip Hamilton
7. Marco Belinelli
8. Michael Reed
9. Jodie Meeks
10. Delonte West
11. Shannon Brown
12. Randy Foye
13. Leandro Barbosa
14. Willie Green
15. Martell Webster
16. Josh Childress

163. Dionte Christmas

306. Terrence Williams

Its amazing how much having a quality defensive center (Hawes) behind you can do for that.  That seems to fall in line with the entire team defense of the Sixers.  Once Hawes got hurt, their defense (which started the season as arguably the best in the league) fell to pieces.

Lets not also overate a few good months of play.

Hawes was never a quality defensive center in previous years and wasn't one when he returned. I have my doubts whether he or Meeks will every capture that level of defensive play again.

Meeks is a shorter Nick Young with less handle. Only thing he puts up are FGAs, no rebounds, no assists, no steals, and no turnovers.

I like Meeks. I think he could play that Ray Allen "spread the floor" role nicely. he might sign a one year BAE deal.

Also Delonte West?

Despite my previous post I don't think he's a terrible option, shooting is something every bench needs.

All the C's need from a 2 guard is to knock down threes consistantly and play really solid D.  everything else is gravy.

We need more than that from our SG minutes, though from our 4th/5th guard that'd be acceptable.

Still Meeks/Terry/Bradley/Rondo is so very small.

Not a Hawes fan really. Have to factor in how weak Philly's schedule was during that stretch too. I would like Miles. I am not sure Lee is that much better then a lot of these guys at this point. I think we still need more scoring off the bench though and thus I don't really want Pietrus back unless he is the best option left. I think another guy who can create his own shot for himself and others would be best.

I would like to see Delonte back. Too bad Michael Redd had those injuries. He would be a very nice fit with Terry if he was really healthy.
