Yet another roadblock in the way of Jimmer Freddete's (playing time) and Tyreke Evans' (being forced out of position by low level prospects) development.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
The last thing the kings need are guards and swingmen. They just traded for James Johnson too. They are in no need of small guys anymore. What in the cheese are they thinking?
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

They have DeMarcus Cousins, Jason Thompson, and promising rookie Thomas Robinson and Chuck Hayes as bigs, so their front court is full too. They probably will force feed backup 5 minutes to Hassan Whiteside this year.

I guess their strategy is to stockpile middling talent in order to create logjams at all positions.  Strange.

I think the Maloofs' plan is to put together such an embarrassingly bad roster that Kings fans will actively ask to relocate the team to Vegas.

I have a feeling Kahn's a secret associate of theirs.

I like their direction lately.  Robinson and DMC are a dynamic power duo.  Thomas and Brooks are both young PGs who can be productive.  Thornton is a good scorer.  Fredette was a hideous pick, however.

They have to figure out what to do with Tyreke Evans.  Can Evans be effective without dominating the ball?  Can they trade him for some quality assets?

Yeah seriously.

Confused why people are taking a shot at this move.  One of their good ones.  They need a PG badly and a shooter, this covers both.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Well, I hope he enjoys backing up Isiah Thomas.

PG: Thomas   Brooks
SG: Thornton   Fredette
SF: Evans   Williams
PF: Robinson   Thompson
C: Cousins   ???

I like the frontline a lot, but that backcourt/wing rotation is going to be an issue.

Yeah they seem to be convinced he's a SF now.
