I think I still may have drafted one of the deeper teams

Washington Bullets  GM: wdleehi  Coach: Jeff Van Gundy
PG Raymond Felton/ Goran Dragic
SG Landry Fields/ Delonte West/ Avery Bradley
SF Danny Granger/ Shane Battier/ Peja Stojakovic
PF Lamarcus Aldridge/ Ryan Anderson
C Marcin Gortat/ Enes Kanter/ Jason Smith

Sure, I would change the starting Guards to Dragic and Bradley and have to find a replacement for Peja, but I like this team.

I'd say deep-est. Felton was a let down and a distraction in Portland and Granger had lock out legs, but I still underestimated this team. Dragic, Anderson and Bradley flourished. Delonte was healthy when it mattered, Smith and Kanter round out a nice big man platoon.

I do admire that you're still worried about honorary assistant coach Peja not being game ready for those three minute stints of garbage time.

My Bulls from last year:

Head coach: Doc Rivers

PG: Steve Nash
SG: JR Smith
SF: Gerald Wallace
PF: Udonis Haslem
C:  Joakim Noah
6th man: Jason Terry

Bench was Udrih, Gordon Hayward, Zaza, Al Harrington, Jason Thompson.

Another strong, deep squad, and one with a top NBA coach. I'd want to start Hayward, but probably have to start Terry instead. Smith was more a liability than an asset this season, though he may have had the best dunk of the year; and I've enjoyed following the Knicks' crack P.R. team's failed efforts to reign him in.

The latest? J.R. admits Lin's contract would be a problem in New York's locker room.

Can I get some links on this? I'm trying to get the actual details on the Lin stuff and having a hard time.

I wanna know what prompted Henry Abbot to say this:

Smith, and most convincingly Knicks sources cited by Stephen A. Smith are putting some ideas out there that, given the code, will curl your hairs.

So now that LeBron has won his ring, is he the consensus #1 pick in the draft now?

Ew.

Can we put an asterisk next to that ring? He still hasn't won one in an 82-game regular season.

Definitely. I thought he was consensus #1 even before his ring.

Well, SI's Sam Amick got the interview I'm referring to -

Quote
"Without a doubt," J.R. Smith said. "I think some guys take it personal, because they've been doing it longer and haven't received any reward for it yet. I think it's a tough subject to touch on for a lot of guys."

Stephen A. Smith's criticism is even worse.

Quote
Jeremy Lin has been all about the money since the day he burst onto Broadway. Lin was about the Benjamins when Linsanity made the cover of Time magazine. He definitely was overcome by dollar signs when he wouldn't play at "85 percent" for the New York Knicks in the playoffs, and it was all about the bottom line once free agency arrived.

So, for those keeping score at home. Ray Allen is criticized for taking less money. Lin is criticized for cashing in. The Walker Wiggle loves watching both play. #hatersgonnahate

Also, we've slowed in the Monday afternoon stretch. But are still on pace to smash the record for filling out the league.

That SAS piece was complete character assassination without a single attributable quote.

Man I hate that guy. Just flat out hate him, and all the lazy 'insider' reporting he represents.

Yeah i popped on Sportscenter a few times this past weekend and he sounded like Dolan's little minion.  Sounding off about how Lin didn't want to risk his payday by playing injured in the playoffs and how rediculis of a contract it was.  Hate on Morey if you want, but what is Lin supposed to do - not cash in? Pretty sad by SAS.

24 gms last year, could we hit 30???
