sean is a goner...but wanna keep moore and jjj...they earned one more chance...one more try

They 'earned' one more chance? How exactly did they 'earn' any more chances? They haven't earned SQUAT! I'd rather keep Sean Williams over JJJ! At least he hustles and acts like he wants to be on the floor!

well said. JJJ is invisible
this is not a one game sport...both showed signs of life  last week and last year...

Face it...they both are trade fodder. DA please throw them both in a deal and bring back someone that can contribute.
Why do people keep insisting we trade our trash for someone that can play??  Are we thinking other teams are stupid or something?

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Some GMs tend to make questionable decisions here and there. And big men are the most likely candidates for other teams to take a chance on.

Him and KG will get along well, I have a feeling.

Kris only needs a chance ...he is the REAL DEAL.

I guarantee you said the same thing about Billy Walker, Pruit, Giddens, Lester Hudson etc.

"He thinks his future is at 3 spot."

Translation: His future is Europe.

Seriously.  If you can't create at all you are not playing the 3.

I like what I saw from Melo today, some nice passing.  Still has room to improve but good signs.  I loved that touch pass to Williams.

Sully and Joseph continue to impress.

And perhaps he said the same thing about Avery... or maybe he didn't.

Lets not be negative about all of our draft picks because some didn't work out.

Sorry, I misread your original post.  Thought it said JJJ is the real deal, which he absolutely isnt.

I agree that Joseph has some potential.  However, we need to keep in mind that summer league is dominated by athletic wings. I really like Joseph's game, but he has shown some really bad shot selection at times.  I think that he has a much better shot at turning into an nba role player than Moore or JJJ do.  However, I would say his ceiling is a 20-25 mpg 7-10 ppg type of player who can come in and give instant offense and energy. Think Mikael Pietrus.

He looks really good right now but Syracause is a highly visible, well regarded program so theres no way this many scouts missed on him. Also, he is nearly 24 years old, a lot of people dont realize that he started college 2 years late and was a senior.

Anyways, I do think he has a decent shot at becoming a legit nba player, but we really need to temper expectations.  He's very versatile and has a polished offensive game, but as of right now, he is not a guy you want playing serious minutes, nor is he a solution to our backup SG problem.

Also, I am from Montreal, Quebec, which is where KJ is from so Im really rooting for him.  Just tryign to be realistic and avoid the inevitable debates that followed players like Walker, Giddens etc.

LOVE Melo's vision. Excellent passer for a big! Reminds me of KG PASSING wise only of course. Doc did say they love his passing didn't he?  ;D

Melo in some ways is a better passer than KG already. That touch pass early in the game was a beauty. I have never seen kg do that before. (then again he usually just dunk those)

Kris Joseph doesn't have one any oustanding skills, but combine very good skills and plus height, athleticism and quickness he is going to have a very nice nba future.

Prob the best thing about him is that, when things get intense it doesn't seem to phase him at all. All syracuse boys including Waiters, Melo seem to have this trait about them.

If Joseph can develop a left hand (to handle and finish) and shoot with better consistency , he will be a very good player in this league. Starter potential

Houston and Sac  look horrible.  Celtics rookies look like they have been together for years compared to these squads.

Leader in the clubhouse for worst/most inappropriate summer league comparison! Well done!
