Grant Hill will pick between the L.A. Lakers, Miami cHeaters, and the New York Knicks. My guess it will be the Lakers. I like to know how these 3 teams can afford him. They got to be close over the cap, maybe not the Lakers
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I'll guess the Knicks, when we were looking at him a few years ago he was more interested in NY because his wife wanted to be there.

I think he's almost a lock for the Lakers.  They have a need at SF, he's staying close to Arizona, and he'd be playing with Nash.

Agreed -- pretty much a done deal.

I thought D'Antoni played a big part in Grant Hill's interest in being there. Getting to play for him and in that SSOL offense.

I don't think Hill will be as interested in New York this time round.

Speculation was that his wife wanted to live in NY or something, so there might have been interest to accommodate his family there. Not sure about the validity.

I'm still pretty ticked that he had absolutely no interest in us a couple years ago when we showed a lot of interest and he made it sound like he would finish his career in PHO.

In any case I pray he goes to NY just because they will never be good

Close to Arizona? He lives in LA. I bet he is Laker bound.

If he signs with the Knicks, can Juwan Howard be far behind him?

The Knicks are trying to replicate the OKC model having high draft picks play together, except their picks were selected in the mid-1990s.  They've already dominated the top of the 1994 draft.  T Mac is out there, if he's not too young for them.

Grant Hill would be a fit for Boston, but he will not come to the C's (like many other players, so praise to Jason Terry, he wanted to be a Celtic), I think he can go to the Lakers.

Lakers are the highest payroll in the league right now -- over 79M.  However, they manage to be mentioned as a possible destination for almost every decent FA avalaible.

I like the prospect of the 39yo Nash and the 40yo Hill playing for LA.  Fragile.

How much longer can Buss afford to pay. He doesn't have the resources of say Cuban.
