Still think Steamerz is better than Darko considering our need for defense... but he may come at a greater cost so it really depends on cap space more than anything.

Does annyone here realize that Darko is actually YOUNGER then Stiemsma?
He never played with someone like Rondo or someone like KG. I believe he could give us 10 pts, 7 rbs, 2 blk and 6 hard fouls to send Dirty Wade and Judas on her butts

"Other" might be my preferrence, problem is that I don't know who that may be. But between Steam and Darko, I'd like to give a shot at Darko over Stiemsma. I don't think Stiemsma is going to be as effective as he was last year. He gets exposed when he doesn't have Garnett covering his back in the pick-and-roll.

As the season went along, sadly he constantly displayed poor judgement on how he positioned his body to stop penetration and how he went about challenging shots.

Steam is very good defensively, he knows the system, Milicic can provide more in attack, and also a great defender, he can do 15/10 easy.

Darko's never come close to 15-10.

Stiemer last year rebounded and blocked at better rates than Darko did and he shot almost .100 better FG%--at .545 vs .454--and .707 vs .432 on his FTs.

And he's not a jerk.

Steimsma is 3 months younger, both are born in 1985.

Btw Darko has been in the league since 2003 and at best he had averages of 7-8 points, 5-6 rebounds, 1.6-1.8 blocks per game on .450 FG% when he was playing around 24 min a game.

Stemboats averages are abit lower with better fg% but he only played about 14 minutes per game so i think the Cs should def go with steimsma.

I think he couyld do better than those numbers if he gets more minutes on a more regular basis.

Yep, who knows what Stiemsma is wanting.

Regardless, at best, we're talking a 4th or 5th big off the bench right ? Darko is better value.

At the very worst, Darko upgrades Hollins.
