I'm sorry I just can't hate Steve Nash. He really does deserve a ring after everything that's gotten in the way of his career. At the same time, I really hope that doesn't come while he's wearing purple and gold.

I have no problems rooting for Nash in the West, while a Celtics fan I was too young to witness the rivalry in the 80's, and the current rivalry isn't near as strong. Besides, I don't despise Kobe and his crew like I do Wade and his, I actually have respect for Kobe's game and find Gasol quite likeable.

Now that they've got Nash (one of my favorite players, and has been for quite some time), I'll be rooting for the Lakers as long as they aren't playing the Celtics.

Man this is kind of bittersweet. I love rooting for Nash but I just can't, man, not while he's wearing a Laker jersey.

I hope he wins one, but I hope the Lakers won't. See, total confusion.

You always have to remember though, the Lakers are ONE championship behind us. ONE. They cannot win before us. It really cannot happen.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Yeah, tp, it would be pretty horrible if the Lakers tied / took the lead from us in championships. I don't hate Nash either, but I will absolutely be rooting against them. If only the Celtics had won the title back in 2010, it would be 18-15 instead of 17-16. Just heartbreaking to think about...

...and yeah, what is all this bro / boy stuff?

That's only if you're counting the Minneapolis championships. The LA Lakers have 11.

But why wouldn't you count the Minneapolis ones? I'm not getting in this argument for the 600th time. The LAKERS. Doesn't matter where at (Hell, they could be the Maccabi Lakers and I'll still route against them), the Lakers will still have more Championships than the Celtics.

And that my friend, is not cool.

I absolutely HATE the fact that he's a Laker now.  Nash would've been a great Celtic.

Steve Nash is awesome. He's the funniest guy in the NBA, and by far the easiest to like.

Hope he wins a ring before he retires.

Not before we win one though.

Can't hate Nash. Can't hate him.
