guard depth is the weak point right now.

I expect a dropoff in pierce's play. I hope he can be comfortable with more of a spot up shooter role, and let rondo, terry, and hopefully bradley get more of the shot creating opportunities.

I think pierce will be at least somewhat comfortable with rondo shooting more, but he might not.

I remember a stretch of games mid-season when rondo got hot and was scoring close to 20 ppg for a bit. Ray and paul lost interest, and their intensity dropped off.

Glad rays gone now, but hopefully paul can keep his intensity up while not demanding the ball too much.

I think theyll easily be one of the top 3 teams in the East next year.

Terry is a combo guard who can back up either Bradley or Rondo.  We could use another guard.   Bradley and PP have done point before.   I don't think it's desperate need.   We have big by commitee often so why not PG.

I don't know if they will be dominant (would love to think so) but I do think they will be highly entertaining and interesting to  watch this year.  Doc has a way of getting the most out of his players.

disagree

i disagree with your disagreement

i disagree with one disagreement but agree with the other disagreement. so, does everyone agree or disagree that that makes me disagreeable?

Let's all agree to disagree?

Dominant is a pretty strong word.

I'd say the last team that was dominant in the NBA out of of any team is the 08 Celtics. From start to finish pretty dominant.

I don't know if I see the Celtics that dominant. Hopefully a contender though

What's funny about the 2012 Celtics was that so much went wrong for them. Had things gone right we could have had a core of:

Rondo/Bradley(Assuming Ray had still gotten hurt)/Pierce/Bass/Garnett/Ray/Green/West/Wilcox/Dooling/Stiemsma

I can't include Pietrus because Green's heart forced the Celtics' hand, and luckily Pietrus fit right into their needs.

But man. That is a TEAM.

In a weird way, our true "best case" team might have been worse: Rondo/Allen/Pierce/Garnett/O'Neal/Bass/Wilcox/Green/Dooling/Daniels.

I think Bradley gets spot minutes at best, and KG plays primarily at PF.

Not sure whether we sign Pietrus or not. I still see a hole at SG. But maybe we stick with Daniels.

A healthy Bradley IMO was more effective for this team last year than a healthy Ray.
