We sign most of our free agents but since last week and the Jet signing....it's crickets for the Celtics FO.

We need another big and guard. What's taking so long??

We only have the ability to sign and trade, offer the BAE, and sign minimum level free agents.

This means we have to wait till the RFA and other teams with real money to spend sort themselves out. It sounds like Danny is going to announce things Saturday though.

Guess you missed the part where I mention that we resigned most of our free agents.

What? Dude with the KG resigning, The JET signing, others... plus all the drama from the betRayal.. this has been anything but boring. Summer league's on to somewhat distract us from free agency, and we'll get things worked out to fill out our bench within the coming week or 2 (or 3,4 etc). Not boring.

Frustrating on the other hand...
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Boring or not, if we can trade for Lee or Mayo to replace Ray plus adding Sullinger, Green, and Terry to a roster that took the champs to game 7 of the eastern conference finals.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Actually the NBA free agency moratorium ended just yesterday, on the 11th.

It has literally been impossible to sign someone until about 24 hours ago.

And, because none of the details of our re-signings can be fixed until those contracts have been signed, and those things may affect how much space we have under the luxury tax threshold, it has been near-impossible to plan any details of more minor signings.

Personally I think we've done almost everything it's possible to do by this point - most notably, getting a commitment from the biggest free agent signing of the big three era (Terry).

The other dominoes will fall soon enough. We hear crickets, but I bet Danny has not stopped talking once over the last month
