Help me out here. Coming in late. Has it been reported that Gerald Green is leaving Nets for Pacers? If not, consider it reported.

The Pacers signing Green, takes away another team and perhaps our biggest competition for Lee and Mayo.

That explains the Dallas trade (a bit they overpaid for Mahinmi). Wonder how much they will give him.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
There's always somewhere in me that routes for Gerald, and still kind of wants him back on the C's.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

I would be happy with either Mayo or Lee, but I believe Mayo is perfect for Boston. Mayo can create his own shot, and potentially create with others with his dribble. The C's need to hope Phoenix can somehow get Eric Gordon. If so, the competition for Mayo is very limited

Me too, but good for him.  His is a great story and I hope he succeeds with Indiana.

I like that. Good backup to George and Granger (huh, surnames all Gs, the 3Gs).

A Gerald Green and Paul George wing combination is incredibly athletic.

Our biggest competition for Mayo is our salary.

Good point, but with a team with cap money to spend like Phoenix out of the equation, the C's will be like everyone else interested in getting Mayo. They will be forced to be creative to put together a S&T. To get either Mayo or Lee, the C's have to be willing to throw in at least one pick. I think a 1st and 2nd along with Dooling, JJJ, and Moore should get the C's into the conversation for acquiring either player.

We should have went a little harder after Gerald Green being he was affordable. We keep looking at gaurds that's clearly out of our price range. I'm a little disappointed at that.
