love it, a young 2nd round truth haha. And lucky for him, he has his hero to mentor him now (should he make the roster... i hope he does)

Pierce should be a model for heaps of kids. Shows you dont have to be super athletic to achieve greatness in the NBA. Pierce is quite possibly the craftiest guy in the NBA and its the way he dribbles and uses fakes that makes him great.

Everyone can learn off him

If people think Sullinger could be the steal of the draft, which he very well may be, they also better be looking closely at Joseph. This kid can flat out PLAY! Extremely smooth pull up jumper, very good rebounder for the position, seems to rotate well on defense and man up. Good passer. I think there will be a lot of teams who regret passing up on this guy. He's a keeper.

This from nbadraft.net:(who does the underlined red remind you of?)

Strengths: Excellent frame and length for the small forward position- measured in with a 6’11 wingspan and 8’7.5 standing reach at the pre-draft combine. Looks the part of an NBA swingman, with well above average physical tools and agility. He bulked up significantly during his four years at Syracuse without adding much extra weight. Primary scoring option on a balanced elite eight team during his senior season (13.4 PPG). At his best in the slashing game where he can gather momentum without the dribble. Improved strength, body control and right/left hand aptitude allows him to complete plays around the rim. Dramatically improved in the mid-range game knocking down pull jumpers after a few power dribbles. Needs to get his legs underneath the shot and go straight up- not efficient when forced to drift horizontally. Solid base, good elevation. 35% three-point shooter, most of the standstill variety. Accuracy from deep is night and day from two short years ago (22%). Confident dribble/driver with dominant right hand. Long strider. Smooth repertoire with just enough herky jerky to keep opponents off balance. For better or worse, does not step out of his comfort zone on the court. Committed under a turnover per game last season. Length wreaked havoc in 2-3 zone, consistently getting deflections and jumping passing lanes (1.4 SPG). Projects as a versatile defender possessing size, athleticism and lateral quickness."

The NBA Summer League, where rookie love happens.

Don't get me wrong, I like all 3 of these guys but it is the summer league.  I especially like Sullinger, his back seems fine, just like he said it was but I am not letting myself get too hyped up.

This is great -- it put a smile on my face and likely put a smile on PP's
Celtics fan for life.

You got a point there haha.
I fell in love with Harangody two seasons ago, and he ended up sitting on the bench the rest of the season. I just dont hope that this is the case this year.

Early today I was thinking, Kris Joseph is going to say that his favorite player is Pierce. And of course it happened, their are so many similarities in their jumpshot and play style, Joseph is a little more athletic but it's so close. Maybe he will be a poor man's pierce.

The NBA Summer League, where you can't point out you like what you see from a guy or be constantly reminded that it's the "Summer League"  ::)

I know, it is easy to be the contrarian but I am just trying to be the tough love guy and hopefully help some fans avoid the rookie disappointment broken heart feeling.  But hey, I hear it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all so if you want to go all in for Kris Joseph as the steal of the draft, you go and who knows, maybe he will be "the one"  ;)

Kris Joseph is an NBA Player. He can shoot okay, rebound very well, has shown signs that he can adjust from zone defense to man, and he is a really good slasher. That's two things that he can do consistently.

Looks very solid. Not too explosive; but smooth and in control. Handle could use some work and his 3 point range is not solid yet; but give it time. Could easily see him playing some SG in the Quis mold. He is more of a G/F than a SF; but as he gets stronger he might be able to be a backup SF.
