Let's not get carried away.  He's also responsible for Marcus Banks, Gabe Pruitt, Gerald Green and JR Giddens.

He's typically solid at the draft but "I don't know how he does it" might be a bit of an exaggeration.

Wasn't he the top scorer in Cuse with Dion Waiters on the team? How'd he get so under the radar?

I'm glad you guys are coming around!

Heeyy, nice call. I'm really impressed by Joseph (ok, Doc will probably stick him in the bench all year, but still).
It's curious how Danny Ainge is so much better drafting in the second round (Leon Powe, Big Baby, E. Moore, now Joseph) than in the first round.

Of course he'll stick him on the bench. As impressive as Joseph has been in summer league, he won't be better than Pierce or Green in NBA games.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of that from fans. I think those people are really underrating Pierce. PP is a Hall of Fame player/scorer that was a 10th pick in the draft.

No one can expect a second round pick to do what Pierce has done. When Pierce retires/gets traded I think more fans will realize how good he actually was.

Funny that most posters thought Joseph will go late in the first round. Seems like we got great value for the 51st pick.

Until he does it in a meaningful game against NBA rotation players, I'm not going to get too excited. He does look like he can be a decent scorer for us some day.

I also like what I see from Joseph, he wont see any time this year but should experience solid growth while playing against PP and Green in practice this year.

I am from cuse (cny stands for Central New York) I was upset with the Fab Melo pick because of his work ethic/school issues but Kris Joseph I was excited about.  Kris Joseph will be, eventually, Marquis Daniels with a better shot.  He may be our 3rd string #3, but if Pierce gets into fould trouble (or injured he is old after all) he can easily come in the game.

In the regular season if Pierce gets knicked up we will be able to sit him with Green and Jospeh on the bench.
