The more I watch Joseph, the more I fall in love with his game. Nothing flashy, but he knows how to play the [dang] game. Looking like a steal.

All three of the rooks were signed soon after they were announced.

The only news here is that his contract is completely unguaranteed.  Not a big surprise.  Maybe says a little more for him that he's played so maturely under that pressure.

Yeah didnt we already sign all three rooks?

After two games he is def my fav player on the team to watch.  I really hope he gets a chance.  Just like Sully is NBA ready, it really seems like Joseph has some of that same maturity and feel for his game.  He has good court vision, and patience for the game to come to him and not force things.

I wanted JJJ and Moore to get more PT last year, but it seems like all of this years rookies have a greater upside / ceiling.  I just don't know if JJJ is ever going to have an NBA body / strength?  I am concerned that his shot release is too slow to be effective as well.

I'm very impressed with this kid. You can see a glimpses of Paul Pierce in his game. Pierce Jr.
this is what i'm saying to myself when we drafted him. i'm really hoping he makes the final cut.

LIke others, I do see some Pierce in his game.  Obviously a much less gifted Pierce, but some very good stuff there to work with.  Not overwhelmingly athletic, but enough to get by, has good body control, and knows how to score buckets.

I'd love to see him as an end of the bench guy.  Not necessarily so he can play as a role player but just so he gets to practice around Pierce.  If he could pick up on Pierce's tricks like the jab step and hard pump fake that Pierce has used so much in his later years, he could become a great offensive 3 off the bench.

That's quite a deal for Joseph - two years non-guaranteed at the minimum.  Does he and Ray Allen share an agent?

His release on his jumper is similar, the way he finishes is similar and their free throw routines are identical lol

Honestly, I don't mine Moore - he's no Kobe Bryant, but he's sold (in a Keyon Dooling / Marquis Daniels kind of way).  He handles the well, is a passable rebounder, a passable distributer and a passable defender that (if he gets hot) can put points on the board.  I think this year's picks probably all have more potential then he does, but he's a servicable player as insurance in case guys get hurt.

Johnson though...to me he's just of no use at all to us.  Firstly we already have a traffic jam at the PF spot with KG, Bass, Wilcox, Green, Sullinger all capable of playing minutes there and all being FAR superior to Johnson.  Secondly he's defensive liability because he's too slow to defend SFs on the perimeter, and too weak to defend PFs in the low post.  He's a weak passer and a mediocre rebounder, and none of his offesive numbers look particularly off the charts either.  I just see hiim as a guy who has many liabilities in his game, but no outstanding qualities to even begin to make up for them.  With his relative age (considering his experience) and lack of skill I don't see him having much potential to improve either.

If JaJuan Johnson is still on our roster on opening day I'll be both surprised and dissapointed...only because we are building a DEEP roster this year, and we already have so many spots filled with so many needs still to be covered (SG, backup Center, etc).  I'd much rather have that last roster space taken up by a passionate and experienced veteran like Dooling, Marquis or Pietrus then waste it on Johnson.
