I'm not sure I could watch a Celtics game if we had that jerk.
Peace through Tyranny

I think they would want young assets not old guys, no offense.   I just don't see it happening.

did you read the trade?  they'd be getting young guys in bradley, bledsoe, and all the  draft picks...  The only old guys in the deal would be butler and i guess gomes.

Gomes has what I believe is a partially guaranteed one year left on his deal.  He'd be waived.

In the rest of our lives we will never have a chance to get someone of Howard's qualities as a center, unless that player was way past his prime time. Danny, please do whatever is necessary to get Howard. Bring back the Russell years.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

I dont want to spend my Summer reading about fans being angry cause Howard signed with so and so team instead of signing with the best team in the NBA, meaning the Celts, in case anybody has any doubts. Some dont want him here, and would rather have him sign with the Heat or Lakers. That would mean we would remain inconsequential in this league for another 20 years. But I guess that would be more acceptable than him coming over. Gimme a break! The truth is that he wont come to play with us cause he wants to play with a team which can win it all.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

I think Bill Russell just threw up in his mouth a little.

Just trade Howard to the lakers already so I don't have to root for him two to five times a year.

Orlando would instantly hang up the phone. We dont have any assets that other teams would want beside Rondo and Bradley. Last year the Lakers rejected our proposal to get Gasol for Rondo, why? cuz talented bigs are the most valuable assets right now, it doesn't matter what we think, that's the way the market is right now. You wont get any arguments from me that we dodged a bullet when the Lakers rejected that trade offer but that doesnt change the perception around the league that talented bigs are sought after more than anything.

LAL do not have a chance to get DH12 if they do not send to Orlando Bynum. LAL owner do not like to trade Bynum. So, %0 to happen.

At this point Cs have a chance to get into the trade. Cs have to sacrifice PP or Rondo to get DH12. With Howard, Cs will make jump of quality, and the number 1 candidate to get the ring.
