Can we please move on from ray ?

it's over with now and it honestly is probably a good thing. no more ray trade fiascos or any of that. lets focus on our team now and forget about ray allen. the day he left i said he was dead to me and i think it would be best for us to all think like that. whether you wish him best or not. the only thing i care about with ray now is if he publicly comes out and says why, until then lets forget about the guy

I don't know about other posters/fans, but I always try and convince myself that whatever happened was for the best.

We drafted Melo and I was p---ed, now I'm pretty certain he's gonna be a monster on defense.

Ray left us and I was down, now I'm glad that cry baby role player is gone.

This way I'm always excited/pumped for the Celtics.

I already moved on: declared him "Dead to Me" as soon as the news was official. Doesn't mean that I won't participate in making Ray apologists squirm. Just like I'm currently preparing a big, feathery, crow lasagna for everyone here who insisted that we lost Jeff Green forevers after letting him become an UFA.

But, I for one am excited about this team, as usual. Not as much as I would have been if Judas was still with us, but I like our draft picks and I also like Terry. Looking forward to see how the last few pieces fall into place... hoping for Pietrus and Steamer, personally.

i am excited as well we got some new faces here that im really interested to see how they mesh with the team; sully and terry. we need a big man though. but pay your respects to ray or curse him do whatever but don't keep rambling about him. it's like the friend that just got dumped and is still caught up on that *****. no one wants to hear the sob stories. he disrespected us fans by his decision as far as im concerned so lets not reward him by flooding "latest forum topics" about him.

i am slowly realizing this topic is counter productive but hopefully it helps haha
