Does Danny( or Wyc ) read this forum? There are people in this forum giving good ideas about trades, tactics etc. But I ma not sure that this "voice of Cs fans" means something for danny and ownership///

No.  While Jeff, the moderators, and a select few readers are knowledgeable, most readers who post here are green-teamers that over-value the C's players and come up with some pretty horrendous trade ideas.  Danny Ainge would have another heart attack if he read a few of these threads.

I think there are just as many people here who undervalue our players as there are people who overvalue them.

Not even close.

Haha. Clearly you think all of the claims that Bradley will never be a rotation-caliber player or that Rondo will never be an above average point guard without greatly improving his jump shot and ft shooting or Perk never being capable of being a starting center on a contending team were "not even close" to undervaluing the players. I'd disagree.

I  remember years ago reading that Ainge starts his day reading Hoopshype.com to get an idea about what's happening around the league.

I'm not surprised the Celtics would be very careful to protect their brand from infringement, so I'm sure they have some intern assigned to peruse the fan sites regularly for infringements.

I'd be surprised if Ainge took the time to  peruse fan sites like this one.  I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the owners check them out, just to take the pulse of their fans.  I know one of the minority owners, and the next time I see him, I'll ask him.

yep. it is that way in college athletics as well. LSU does the same on message boards. They have lurkers and watchers. oh yes indeed.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I would have to say a resounding no with Danny.  I've had the pleasure of meeting/working with Danny a few times and my honest sense of him is that he really doesn't care what people think, he is an incredibly confident person who exudes a sense of assuredness in his own opinions/decisions.  That kind of personality doesn't really translate into the type of person who spends time worrying about public opinion or scouring blog forums to see what fans think of him or the job he's doing.

on the other hand I know that Wyc is a huge fan of the team.  I'm sure he's got way more important things to do, but I wouldn't be surprised if he read articles on the front page of Celticsblog from time to time.

And I certainly wouldn't be surprised if people who work within the Celtics organization read Celticsblog on the regular.

Just a thought:  If Danny and Wyc had usernames, what would they be?  haha
