I didn't see the Summer League game, but I'm guessing that E'Twaun will be on the bubble to make this roster coming out of training camp.

Unless Danny finds a trade that he really likes which needs to include Johnson,  JJJ isn't going anywhere.

I saw the game and think long shot is a better description than bubble for Moore's chances of making the roster.

It's striking that the Orangemen have already trumped the Boilermakers.

Neither have performed remotely well, and yesterday gave no indication that will change soon.

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Bust? Absolutely not. They were picked at 27 and 55. But just because they aren't "busts" at that range, doesn't mean they're going to be in the league much longer.

I'm hoping Houston would take them both for Lee.

Any 1st rounder who doesn't stick in the league is a bust.

I think Moore is out.  He doesn't handle the ball well enough to play point, he isn't big enough to handle the NBA big 2 guards.  He isn't super athletic or a big finisher at the rim.  He isn't a great defender.  He isn't anything that 100 free agents, non draftees, or D-Leaguers aren't.

There is nothing that makes him special, and therefore I don't see us keeping a spot for him.  Even a guy like Dooling makes 3's and plays better (at least harder) defense.  You can pick up E'Twan Moore's anywhere.  Dionte Christmas looks every bit the player Moore is.

JJJ is pretty much in the same boat only it seems like you could pick up a lot of people who can do what he does only better.  Doesn't seem consistent with the jumper.  No inside game to speak of.  Not a great defender.  He can run well.  That isn't a lot on the positive side.

I think that at the very worst JJJ will have at least a five or six year career where he bounces around the league some while teams wait for him to fulfill his potential.  To me, that wouldn't be a bust.

At best, he remains a Celtic and becomes a solid rotation player with a long career, running the floor with Rajon Rondo.  I'm hoping for the latter.

I like E'Twaun, but I can easily see him competing for a Euroleague title within the next couple of years.

I think it's about 8:30 on the Jujuan Johnson clock.

I wouldn't really consider either one a "bust" given where they were drafted but I don't think either are going to pan out in the long run.

I hope I eat my words on this but I doubt it.

Does that mean his time is about to pass or that he's just getting started?

Thanks for the reminder.  I was really high on Jerome Moiso, too.  Maybe I'll never learn my lesson.

Johnson has the tools to contribute in the nba. He needs to get his body right (don't let guards push you around), and his mind right. He's playing with zero confidence right now.

Agree - Moore was a long shot to make it in the league and he's likely done with Boston.

JJJ is TBD in my opinion. He's now in a tough situation with Bass / Sully / Green all ahead of him for PF spots. But trades happen, so who knows. I expect he'll make team as 3rd string PF, but that he's expendable in DA's eyes and his option has a decent chance of not being picked up.
