We win every time Mia doesn't! I know we have to win the East ourselves BUT the more teams that get better in the East is more teams with a chance to beat Mia! I don't know how much this helps NYK, but I know he isn't going to Mia... wish we got him but it's still a win for us!

indeed.  TP

jeff green contract is probably the worst of the summer

It's Fields followed by Asik IMO.

Absolutely.  If you think Green is worse your crazy.

Have all the terms of the contract been disclosed yet?
No.
Given that we don't know how much money Green is guaranteed, how is there any basis for such a comparison?

Chandler being backed up by Camby. I'm jealous.

Gonna be hard to go into the paint, that's for sure.

i wish green all the best, but that signing is all projection,
at best, he spent 4 years in the league and he was an average power foward, and it looks like with ainge trying to getting another guard or small forward that's where he be playing here

Here are his numbers

that's not a 36 million dollar player

C:  Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby
PF: Amare Stoudemire, Steve Novak
SF: Carmelo Anthony
SG: Iman Shumpert
PG: Jason Kidd

I like that Kidd-Shumpert backcourt defensively. They can switch matchups comfortably. Shumpert has the quickness to defend the point and Kidd continues to defend the two very well.

That bench looks very shallow on the perimeter. Need more talent there. Especially with two starters like Kidd (minutes limited) and Shumpert (heavily mistake prone). Looks like opponents could get a lot of joy there.

I'd like to see New York match that Jeremy Lin offer sheet and keep him around. He'd be useful to have to flesh out that backcourt depth. He could go for 30mpg off the bench. Learn his trade from Jason Kidd and take over as a starter from Kidd in a year's time. Bring in a nominal backup wing defender for the remaining available minutes. Fields, however, best to let him go.

He might not get paid $36M.
Again, it all depends on the contract -- my guess is that it is 2 years guaranteed, given that DA is trying to extend the current "window" by 2 years.
But I agree that a lot of it is based on projection.

Good move by Knicks. Danny is sleeping. The only one goal of Danny was to send Ray to Miami and signing broken Green

You should be a GM for a team that is not the Celtics and Danny should do a trade with you.
