Not sure what I think about this contract.

The deal, according to Bartelstein, is fully guaranteed for four years, $15 million.

His career took off same time as Jeremy Lin. They had amazing chemistry from the get-go. They helped each other in a way.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Not sure what I think about this contract.

Yeah, Matt Carroll called him immediately and said, "I know what you're going through, man. I know the guilt, feeling like, 'why me, when guys like Morris Almond, or Trajon Langdon never got this kind of an offer?' Well you can't dwell on that. They're out of the league, and you're in it. When people ask you if you're overpaid, you need to swallow your pride and say, 'is Matt Bonner overpaid?!'"

like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

We gave danny a hard time for bidding against himself for Jeff Green but I think this is a bit worse

I think both times the Agent put the screws to the team because if they didn't resign Green/Novak they had no avenue to add a replacement.

They should have just let him go and brought back Shawne Williams for the minimum.

The Knicks GM probably doesn't even get a budget. When you're playing with Monopoly money and have the Dolan's making demands dictating moves....

Man oh man being the GM in NY is an awful job. Glad Donnie Walsh got out when he did.

4 years, $15 million for "the best shooter in the league" sounds good to me.

Looks like a good contract to me, particularly since it is coming from an over the cap team with deeeeeeep pockets. He's a nice bench weapon, with 1 extremely good skill.

The issue with him as a player is that he's bad at everything else.

With Novak getting $4 million, is there any realistic way we keep Courtney Lee around the roughly $5 million we need him to sign for?

Decent chance, though it doesn't help.
