saw the game.  he looked decent.  didn't look like a world-beater out there but he didn't look like a wasted pick either.  Let's see how he does in the rest of the games.

I'm sticking with my Boozer comparison, especially after we saw him play some D at center. ;)

Love it.

Nicholson is the man, Sullinger was beastin', and OQuinn was a major steal.

From Rick Kamala Of NBA TV with two minutes left in the game said this.

"Very skilled, very soft touch, takes contact in the air and finishes. To me he's some professional NBA conditioning and training away from being a total Stud in the NBA".

My take on this total stud in the NBA are strong words. I'm not ready to go that far, but his point is spot on. If he can loose 20 pounds of fat and trade it for fifteen pounds of muscle he's gonna be great. Not to mention add three inches on his Vertical and the skies the limit.

Good luck Jared, Kevin's gonna have fun with you.

Eh... more like drop 20 lb with strength training, cardio, and diet. I would rather have him at 245 than 268... that should give him the lift he needs on his vertical, and better lateral mobility on defense. Over the course of summer and preseason training, he could be at the right weight early in the season.

Really excited about him too!!

I'm really hopeful that he is going to have a solid impact in his rookie season, and today certainly helped that feeling.

As I said elsewhere, for a 21st pick, his skill level looks to be like a steal. He can play. But he is at least 20 pounds overweight.

I'm not sure he will ever lose the weight, considering he's stayed pretty much the same in his two years at Ohio.

Let's hope he goes all Kevin Love on us, and not Glen Davis.

I don't know about him losing weight per se.  I do think an NBA conditioning/training regimen combined with a planned diet would do wonders to help him tone and sculpt what he's got already.  I think that would do wonders, but I think he should try to keep the solid strength that he already has.

Well, he has already lost 15lbs since the end of the season (Final 4 run) and said he hired a chef... he has also changed eating habits.

He looks to be headed in the right direction... I could see him getting the 20 off (your numbers cuz I know nothing what he needs to lose) by start of the season.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

im not really surprised that sullinger looks good out there.

a year ago he was supposed to go in the top5...even before all the "back injury" stuff came out he was a projected top10pick.

I could see him having BBD rookie year sort of production for us this year.

He's already in better shape than BBD has ever been I thought? 10% body fat? And he's working towards losing weight?

Hopefully the BBD comparisons die in hell soon!

Throw out the points, rebounds, free throws, & stats...

Sullinger flat out looks ready to contribute already.  You can tell just by the way he plays the game, the fluidness, the positioning, the maturity....He's further along than I thought.

He can flat out play this game and fits in perfectly for what this Celtic team needs.

extra weight is good for sully. He needs it to get his shot off down low. Losing weight his soph year hurt his game. Just needs to tone up a bit, but hes an nba center/pf right now.

I agree love how he didn't force anything either let the game come to him, also was talking a lot which you gotta love wait till KG gets behind him.
