  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Nice get, one they sorely need.

Still waiting on the big trade from the Bulls though. I think it's coming.

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
That's a solid signing for both parties. They get a solid player who's been there before and he gets plenty of minutes.

It felt like he hit every 3 against us vs Atlanta. Put that with his brush up with Rondo in 09 and he's a pretty annoying opponent.

As a Hinrich fantasy owner, I fully support this signing.

Are the Bulls going to be amnestying Boozer?  I thought I heard rumblings of them wanting to do that.

I don't see how they can, at this point.

I can't imagine them amnestying boozer unless it's part of a bigger move. We talk about amnestys like they're no big deal, but they still gotta pay those guys. It's a lot of money to pay just so you can also pay some other guy that money. I think even if they decide to start 'over', they trade Boozer in a package with one of Deng/Noah, while also getting further assets.

They didn't offer QO to Watson just in case or didn't pick up his option, or something along those lines. Need to read up what I saw this morning.

His contract isn't fully guaranteed. The Bulls will try to trade him; if there aren't any takers, they'll cut him.

Over-rated player at this stage in his career. Unimpressive signing.

Don't understand this move myself. I bet this was Thibs infatuated with his defense and wanted him for the team, but I don't see why they needed to waste their MLE on him considering the options they currently have.

Assuming Watson is indeed cut or traded to save payroll, rookie Marquis Teague is the only healthy PG left on the Bulls roster.

Depends on what sort of contract they could have used to keep Watson.

I'm surprised they didn't go after Mayo, Terry, Lee, or Ray very hard.
