I'd love to add Lee's shooting to the C's. Let's see how good of a salesman Doc is.

is everyone gonna average 9 minutes a game?

PG: Rondo(35) Terry(13)
SG: Bradley(25) Lee(18) Terry(5)
SF: Pierce(25) Green (10) Pietrus(13)
PF: Bass(25) Sullinger(13) Green(10)
C: KG(30) Krstic(12) Melo(4)

Or something like that

Sounds like we should just cut Etwaun Moore right now.

And find the loophole that allows us to play 14 players in a game.

I am highly dubious that Doc will go with a 14 man rotation.  In all likelihood if Lee and Cs can agree to a contract it will be a sign and trade that will involve someone like JJJ or Steimer.

Lee would be a nice addition but I really think the priority is to get at another center on this roster that has spent some time in the NBA.

JJJ and Stiemer aren't in that rotation......
Also that's only a 12 man rotation. Terry and Green play 2 different positions.

rofl at terry gettin 18 minutes nd Pietrus gettin 13 minutes. If Pietrus comes back he takes da Shasha nd Quis role of being 12th- 14th man injury replacements who get called for spot minutes. IMO terry gettin 30 minutes at least

I am amazed at the balance of old, mid-age, and young. Somehow C's look to be transitioning from an old team to a youthful one without looking like we are taking a step back.

Just like the Red Sox can never seem to have too many starting pitchers, the C's cannot have too much talent on the bench.  I continue to be mostly concerned about how they can strengthen the 5.

wow, if the Celtics can pull this off, I would consider it a good offseason(minus ray leaving)

too much Depth isnt a bad problem to have...we've seen the past 2 years that all you need is a few injuries and boom that depth is gone..

plus, We need to move on from Pierce/KG having to carry the offense and get those guys some rest for the post-season...id love to get Garnett down to 25-30mins and Pierce the same.

I agree, I would like to see KG and PP at around 25 mpg until the playoffs, and maybe up them to 30-33 mpg. Green, Bradley, and Terry need to pick up the offense, and who knows maybe one of our young bigs (Sully, Melo, or JJJ) will somehow breakout this year. I'm not sure we need Lee to be honest, but I would like Camby. And the line-up that was proposed would never happen. Doc rarely goes 12 deep, and he won't much this year either.

I think the Lee move has alot to do with how small we are at shooting guard even when bradley comes back.

both bradley/terry are 6.2 what happens when you face larger shooting guards like Joe Johnson/Evan turner?

Rondo was getting scorched by turner

With our luck with injuries, at some point a guy that usually gets 5-10mins a game would average 30mins for a month. Do you remember how many people we lost last season, not including guys that would be out weeks at a time (Bass, Ray, Dooling, Pietrus, KG, etc.)... Cox, Green, Jo, AB (playoffs and a couple times regular season)! We had to at one point put anyone who could limp out there into the game!
