Aaron Brooks is now an unrestricted free agent.  He looked great for a few months for Houston in late 2010-early 2011.  Should we be interested?

I wanted us to draft Aaron Brooks when he came into the league. He is more of a scoring guard than a point guard, but he plays the point decently as well, and I could see him being formidable with Avery in the 2nd unit.

I'd also like to see us go after either Shannon Brown or Brandon Rush. Both guys can take it to the basket and shoot from outside.

For the min than sure, otherwise I'm not that interested in him.

No... think he'll go to Houston, and with Rondo / Terry / AB, think we just need a guy like Dooling as a fourth guard to see a few minutes during the year.

I don't think the Celtics should be interested because of what they already have... but I do think that Aaron Brooks is going to be a good player with a nice future in this league.

Nah.  He's a 20ppg scorer when he's shooting 40% from 3.  Last year he proved when he's not shooting well, he brings little else to the table.

Unstoppable when he's hot but I don't think our team is looking for one of those few guys that live and die by the streak.  Rather have Dooling's defense.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
