Not sure of Celtics' salary situation, but hearing they've "stepped up their interest in OJ Mayo," via text from source.

Like I said last night Danny Ainge is the most creative GM in the NBA and he will figure out a way to further upgrade the team.

Does anyone know if this site is legit? Though it's a blog, it seems most of these rumors sound reasonable.

No?  Plenty of rumors are factual, they're just not confirmed.

No...rumors are indeed real.  Someone starts them and they either end as speculative nonsense, possibilities, or they actually occur.

Sounds like a made up rumor.

Exactly, where would the money be for this? Pretty sure we only have like the BAE, vet mins, and 1mil for Stiemsma left.

A source familiar with Lewis' free-agency plans said the forward also likely will be meeting with the Hawks and Celtics next week. The Knicks have expressed interest, but there is no meeting arranged yet.

Updated story (from Brian Windhorst and I) -- Sources: Knicks ahead of Heat in Camby chase

Camby might be old which is something the C's need to stay away, but should the C's make a pitch at Camby or Lewis?

Has Jason Terry really played much PG over the last few years?

I thought Kidd and Delonte did nearly all the PG play last season and before that it was Kidd and Barea. Terry has played near exclusively as a SG for the past few years.

It's too bad Bradley can't work on his game this summer. It'd be nice if he came in with a better handle and could play some point every once in a while.

I think he will be able to work some, they said he should be ready by training camp... I doubt training camp will be the first time he does any training. He's young, hopefully that helps him heal faster. He just has to have the mentality to put in max effort in short time to get his game in shape... all I have heard is he works his butt off, I don't think it will be a problem.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Camby. Lewis has sucked since his steroids thing, and he's completely redundant to Green, so don't see what use to give him. Though I might sign him just to keep him away from our competition, but not waste the BAE on him.

Danny will not bring other small guy after signing Terry. If Danny will use his brain, he has to bring a real Center, beacuse I am sure he is thinking to use Melo as a center

This. And iv'e heard the same thing about the kid. His work ethic is really mature past his years. Which is always a good sign in any player. I'm really looking forward to some of his highlights next year. He's gonna open a few eyes. Even on this board i bet. The kid is that good people.

I don't like it in that Celtics would have a lockjam at the SG spot with Mayo, Bradley, and Terry

But I like it if Mayo is a piece Celtics want to build for the future

Yep. The fact that he is so young and embraces the defensive end tells everyone that he is defiantly a hard worker.

Then what was the point of Ray coming back? There's more than enough room for Mayo if he comes.
