Rather have Steamer than No Nads.....Steamer plays fair inside defense, NO NADS has ZERO defensive game far as I'm concerned . He is a wasted effort .

I have no idea how this could happen.

From a pure S+T perspective it would probably have to be Kristic.

Stiemer is not going to agree to sign there.

We could trade JJJ and a future first plus S+T Wilcox et al... but Memphis probably wouldn't want that.

Sorry to break it to you, none of what you said is possible at all except trading JJJ! A player has to end the season on your roster to be able to be traded, neither Kristic nor Wilcox was on the roster to end the season. I don't see why people need to keep saying this over and over, it's almost posted in every thread but people still keep bringing up these trades...

This is a typed response so don't take it the wrong way, I am not at all saying it in a angry way or trying to be smart at all... I'm just tired of seeing the same thing in almost all the latest topics.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

It would be Dooling, not Krstic.
And, folks, I hate to say it but Steemer is likely gone (to Minny).

Yeah, Steimsma is a Wisconsin boy who probably is going to get more money and (possibly) more PT playing for Minnesota. I think it makes sense that he is leaving.

They just need to sort out the cap situation with Batum first.

Would Cuban be willing to do a sign and trade for Terry helping us out? Can't we do something like LA did where they gave Pheonix a future pick or two for Nash? I mean we are going all in now who cares if we give up a future pick KG isn't playing for long let's go get it.

I think if we got Mayo, Bradley would In a way be our backup PG.  he would still start alongside Rondo, but it would be very rare to see a lineup without either Rondo or Bradley on the court.  Doc will be creative with minutes, but it will work.
Mock Deadline Denver Nuggets
Nurcic/Henson
Patterson/Bennett/Arthur
Ross/Budinger
Miller/Hunter/Foye
Rubio/Ennis/Bayless

Yea especially since it will be a late first rounder.

Terry more than anyone in our roster would be our backup PG.

Why are Terry and Mayo redundant? It makes great sense to me. Terry played a lot of pg at Dallas. He would be the 2nd pg with mayo on the wing as we need some offense from the bench (this is assuming everyone is buying into Cs defense). Terry's 3 point shooting will open the lane for Mayo with Green in the corner. Steamer, Wilcox,  Sullinger, Brand(did I let that rumor slip?)

Has Jason Terry really played much PG over the last few years?

I thought Kidd and Delonte did nearly all the PG play last season and before that it was Kidd and Barea. Terry has played near exclusively as a SG for the past few years.

The Heat have shown you can win without a relevant center on the roster. Whilst I don't support this theory long term and would feel safer with a good 5 rotation, if the market isn't there you don't make roster commitments to spuds.

If Mayo or any other player with a high ceiling potential,I would hope the Celtics make serious inquiries.

It's too bad Bradley can't work on his game this summer. It'd be nice if he came in with a better handle and could play some point every once in a while.

I don't think so. Bradley plays exceptional defense to cover and slow the ball and/or whoever is the best opposing offensive guard, relieving Rondo in many situations. Plus he is not a ball demanding SG, which plays well with the starting unit. All proving to be a winning combo with Badley in the starting 5. Mayo can create his own offense which would be a key coming off the bench.
