OJ Mayo is redundant with Jason Terry here. I'd rather sign a defensive SG.

I don't know, with all our bad luck injury wise I'll take all the bodies I can get.

Not sure I'd want to deal Kristic.  Right now, Melo is the only legit Center we have on the roster and KG I think wants to play the 4 a little more.

Still, I think Mayo could be a good pickup if we can make the finances work.  If we can somehow, however unlikely this is, get both Kristic and Mayo, I'd be thrilled with our team.

I think Krstic is a must-keep here.

We can't trade him anyway. But must keep? He isn't even here in the first place.

Get then. That's not the point. The point is we need a veteran center.

Great news, but the only way this is possible is if we're able to acquire Terry via S&T, and not the MLE. And even with the MLE, I'm not sure Mayo takes it. We'll see...

The irony is we have as much as we need if Rajon developed a consistent jumper, deep jumper and could hit 75% of his ft's next year. This is my dream: keep adding talent but Rajon takes it up another notch or two and its all over for everyone else

Can we do a Sign and Trade with Memphis for Kristic? Is that something we can actually do with this CBA? Because they've been looking for a legit center back-up for Marc for forever.

No, we cannot S&T Krstic this year. He wasn't on the roster last year.

Don't think a s&t of Krstic is allowed (not on the team last year), but Dooling might be of interest to Memphis.  Back-up PG's been a big problem for them.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Not quite right. There are other ways to get Mayo.

Would have to be a sign and trade..maybe Krstic for mayo ? Mayo is not gonna sign for the bae

It most likely would have to be a S&T.. the options could be Jajuan Johnson or Steamer. Salary's don't have to match up if you can absorb the contract under the cap. So maybe there is  a loophole based on the order DA does the transactions. I trust DA.
Johnson is already signed. Also, if we can absorb his contract "under the cap" (not sure this could happen anyhow), we really don't need a sign and trade.

Who even said Krstic is signing with us ???

We hold his Bird rights ... that's about the extent of our involvement with the guy at this point.
