Well, that was EASILY my biggest concern - AB's return.

Initially, I saw reports of a December return (translated - won't be game-ready until January).

Now? Looks like he will be ready to go from the tip. TP for the great news.

So the the future starts from Game 1:

Hat Tip to Celticslife.com for the wonderful video. Can't wait for Game 1. Bring on MIA (or whoever David Stern wants us to play)

Well that makes rays departure a lot easier to swallow..

Quite honestly, with Terry on the team if Ray came back it would have been an embarrassment of riches to some degree.  We didn't have the minutes for all of these guys.

I want AB getting 30+ a game with Rondo.
Right, but if it had been December as originally reported, it would have been good to have Ray to start the season.  It's all moot now.

Where was that 'December' initially reported?  I've seen it quoted here regularly, but not actually in the press at any level.

I'm pretty sure "December" came from CelticsBlog.

I don't think it was Jeff, just one of the regular folk making a guess in the forums.

December came from Doc.

I think you'll need to provide the link for that one.

December came from Doc.

Who, as he loves to remind us, isn't a real doc.

Is this kid strong enough to hold up for an entire season?
Offense sells tickets, Defense wins games, Rebounds win championships.

I think you'll need to provide the link for that one.

It was in a piece for ESPN or the Herald or something. I think it was the same piece when he talked he wasn't confident in Ray returning anymore. Or maybe the one where he talks he expects to get both Ray and Terry.

Not going to bother to look for it, but he was quoted on it, something along the lines of "last I heard he may not be ready until December".

I think it's an attempt to drive down the cost for the remaining FA shooting guards, as people probably think the celtics are desperate if Bradley is out for half the season.
