After the Green deal is finalized this upcoming week, signing Pietrus, Krstic, & Wilcox should almost complete this outstanding roster & offseason.  There isn't any other realistic option outside of a trade we haven't heard about.

Rondo/Terry
Bradley/Pietrus
Pierce/Green/Joseph
Bass/Wilcox/Sullinger/Johnson
KG/Krstic/Melo

Wilcox & KG can play both Center and PF if & when needed.   1 roster spot still open for a PG/SG released or who makes the team out of camp.  Moore & Dooling could also be considered for that last spot depending on who performs & whose in and out once camp starts.

Pietrus is a waiting game.  He wants more money then the Celtics can offer now.

Krstic should be offered a contract.

Wilcox, I am a little more worried.  Teams usually do not sign two guys off heart conditions (let alone one)

I read that Pietrus might reconsider taking only the BAE, now that Judas left.

I hope so.

Krstic for bird money, Wilcox for minimum.

I thought about it as well in regards to Wilcox....I think its worth the chance when you have depth like:

Bass/Sullinger/Johnson
KG/Krstic/Melo

Were pretty deep into that rotation so taking a chance on Wilcox is low risk IMO.  Obviously you hope you get something out of just one of the youngsters in Sullinger, Melo, & Johnson. If you do, than Wilcox might not even be needed. Wilcox provides depth there if for some reason Ainge doesn't hit on one of those prospects.

They are unrelated.

Krstic can be signed because of bird rights.

Stiemsma could be gone if another team offers more then the BAE (all the Celtics can offer)

Plus, by giving Krstic a solid 5-6M 1 yr deal we could move him at the deadline, to a non-contender, for a solid player in return that has multiple years left.

That's the main reason I want him.

I like that, especially if they are on short deals of 1-2 years.

Would he take that? I bet he'd want more money or longer contract.
Celtics fan for life.

That's also the reason I like him.  Just another piece to do something with if ever needed.

I also feel that, like Bass, it fits right into Rondo's game.  Both Krstic & Bass can spread that floor & knock that 15-20 ft jumper down.  When not playing with Rondo, Krstic could also fit perfectly into a 2nd team unit that includes himself, Sullinger, Green, Pietrus, & Terry....

Exactly. Low risk/high reward. And when I say "high reward" i mean for what his contract could provide us. How big would getting Varejao (3 yrs left) be for Krstic , money, and a couple of picks?

I'm hoping Stiemsma gets overpaid somewhere else, he's a nice shot blocker but not really that great of an overall defender.
