"As bad as we want the domino's of life too fall, the first one has to be pushed..."
first of all, what he meant to say was "as bad as we DON'T
want the dominos to fall".
second of all, he misapplied the apostrophe in "domino's".
this is a mistake which grade schoolers make. There is no
possessive apostrophe in a plural objective. Terrible.
If Jeff Green took any English courses in college or
eve in high school, he obviously did not pay attention.
The guy knows about as much about English as any 5th grader.
May I expound, I also do not want this player on our team.
I do not believe he has proven ANYTHING. I do not like his
style of play. He is weak. He plays like a girl. He has no
gumption. He will be an overpaid dissapointment.
I believe that what he wrote was exactly what he meant. When he says "we want the domino's to fall," he's is making a comment about people wishing that hard decisions can be made easily and that everything will fall in to place on its own. He is recognizing that this isn't always the case, and sometimes you have to take a chance, make the first move, and hope everything follows after that.
I don't know what he's saying about which domino he is going to push, though.
Berate him all you want for his misapplication of an apostrophe in a tweet. Grammar can be corrected. I found the message to be thought provoking. To me, that's more important when I'm reading a piece of writing.
I'll spare you the corrections on your own grammar. I may have made some errors myself.
