The only sensible thing is moving Pierce to SG. Green will making too much to be a backup.

Rondo, Pierce<---backcourt
Green, Bass, Garnett<-----frontcourt

TP for Michael Redd suggestion

I've wanted him to replace Ray 3 years ago. I think in Phoenix he proved he can still score, just needs the minutes and right situation. Ray was going to be a backup here anyway primarily as the bench scorer. Redd could do that. Redd could be a starter till Bradley comes back to get some chemistry with the team.

I too still want Pietrus back, but with Ray out, we need a sharpshooter and Redd is the man for it.
Size, experience and skill. Can't find that elsewhere with the price range Danny will be working with after signing Green.

Thanks.

And yes, I am now on the Michael Redd bandwagon, and your last paragraph is the exact reason why. And he really came on strong late in the season in phx.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I would love Brandon Rush, just because we need a 2 guard who can board.

Yes! Preach it KC!

Shooter? Yes.
Big? Yes.
Better defender? Heck yes!
Better rebounder? Yes.
Younger? Yes.

The question is how do we get him without the Dubs matching?

Couldn't be worse than Ray Allen.

If you look down a little further below the pic on his page you'll see a number under the initial "G" short for Games, the number is 51. 51 is more than what Mr. Allen has under his G category for this past year.

This is not the worst idea in the world. Although this board would explode with anger.

Looks like DeShawn Stevenson is going to the Hawks(S&T-Part of Joe trade).

If he is healthy(knees) I prefer Pietrus (he knows the system). If not, Sonny Weems look like fit for our BAE.

Great lineup suggestion.  I guarantee that combination will be out there at times.  In fact, it's like going small without giving up too much size.  ;)

Ahh ... oh well, that's too bad.

Rodney Carney is my next favourite choice.

pg.Rondo Jet
sg Bradley PAUL PIERCE(have fun guarding him)
sf Green PP Pietrus
pf Bass KG Sullinger
c  KG Wilcox Melo Sullinger Stiemsma

There is no reason a Rondo, PP Green Bass KG lineup won't work

That's also the most he's played in 4 years.
