I know, I know stability ...

Well guess what the c's were going to offer a no trade.

The c's offered more money and he was a guarantee to be a starter until at least december and if he played well likely the whole year.

Miami seriously just does isolation with lebron and Wade 80% of the time .

Does Ray really think Lebron has better court vision/passing ability than Rondo?

And if he thinks Rondo has an ego, just wait until he plays with Lebron and Wade, nothing is ever their fault .

Ray's a punk I don't care what anyone says .

Lebron is an elite passer. If he can get Battier and Miller open looks, he will def be able to get Ray wide open shots.

Did you watch the playoffs?  Did you see how many open 3's Battier, Miller, Jones, and Chalmers got?  Ray is a perfect fit, and that's part of the reason why this sucks so much.

Did you watch the Finals? If Shane Battier and Mike Miller can have an impact on a series offensively, Ray Allen certainly can.

I'm already having nightmares of the LeBron drives to the paint, draws in the defense and kicks it out to Ray for a wide open 3 plays.

Every shooter on that team gets open shots.

Ray will get open shot without having to run around as much.

Shooter's just need to camp behind the 3 point arc. Allen won't need to worry about learning any new plays, just needs to wait for Wade or James to draw defenders on ISO plays and pass to the open guy behind the arc.

I can't see how this is the better decision for his family though. All I hear is that he can play more golf now, and its warmer weather, but his family is in NE, Boston has the best hospitals (for his kid) and Boston was offering him the most money with the most security (no trade clause/ salary increase if traded.) Everyone works with people they hate, so the thing between him and Rondo is a stupid reason to leave.

That said, I won't really miss him and was kind of hoping that he would bail this offseason, or maybe be s&t to another team...just not end up with the freakin' heat. and if the Heat were courting him this past year, the Celtics should have that investigated, and get the Heat's next few draft picks or whatever the punishment is is they were found to be tampering.

I just hate the Heat. But on the bright side, I think that Jet will be a better fit for this team off the bench.
