What Ray accomplished on this team will never be forgotten.  Enjoyed his time here and how hard he fought for us.

However....like many on this board and many of all Celtics fans everywhere, I can't help but feel betrayed!

I can just imagine how his teammates feel, particularly KG.  For someone who is the epitome of loyalty, and the bonds he forms with his teammates.....he must feel betrayed as well!  I'm sure he will, as will the rest of team, be professional about it but deep down they must feel a sense of betrayal.

Whether it be a sour relationship with Rondo, his role on the team, or if he was insulted by management for repeated dangling come the trade deadline, the fact is he took less money to join the enemy.  Many will think he took the "perceived" easy way out.  All of us will feel disappointment that it's the end of this particular era.

But at the end of the day, the guys in that locker room must also be hurt by his lack of faith in their potential as teammates and as a team, in their quest to get back on top of the mountain!
