Bradley is out until at least december, we need scoring punch and ball handling off the bench which Terry will provide. We will likely bring back Pietrus.

With the departure of Ray I think Green could see some mins at SG when the C's want to go big against the paul george types

I guess Green will be getting 30+ mins a night between SG,SF and PF

Eh, playing a SF/PF tweener type at SG sounds like a recipe for disaster defensively.

Depends.

Is it in the teams best interest to have Pierce chasing slightly faster SG during the regular season?

I would start PP at the 2, and JGreen at the 3.  JGreen is such a stud at the 3.

Um, no. Since when is Green a sg? I don't get why so many people think him or Pierce can play that position.

I think Green will start. Slide Pierce to SG.

Jason Terry as 6th man. Mickael Pietrus backup to Pierce.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but when was the last time Pierce or Green played sg?

It's time to call Pietrus. Start Terry.

Keep the bench the way it is and bring in someone to play a Keith Bogans type role as a 16-20mpg starter. Give Green + Terry extended minutes off the bench.

I like DeShawn Stevenson for the job. Or Rodney Carney. Or Pietrus if he re-ups.

They will likely get him, just not at the ridiculous number floated out there.

Against Joe Johnson or Paul George, yes Green should see extended minutes. I think he's not quick enough for most SG's tho. Ditto for Pierce.

We could use another SG, without Ray on the books we can now use the Bi-Annual exception without worry of going over the tax apron.

Agree.  Pierce at SG and Green at his natural SF.

If we are giving Jeff Green the speculated 10 mil per year... we sure as hell better envision him as a starter... otherwise Ainge is nuts.
