We're just three players away

I think we're just three players away (plus fillers) from a truly solid team. To recap, so far we have:

PG: Rondo, Terry
SG: Bradley
SF: Pierce, Joseph
PF: Bass, Sullinger, JJJ
C: KG, Melo

I feel like all we need is Ray Allen, Jeff Green (all but assured), and a solid center like Wilcox.
If we can get that, DA has had a great offseason.

Well we know two things for certain.

1-Our starting 5 is back
2-KG back at Center

Then with a strong bench:
Jet/Green/Sullinger

Pietrus should definitely be back,Melo I believe will take Stiemsma's minutes, Wilcox would be great to have back.

That second unit is a fringe playoff team in the east.

If you add Allen, Green and say Steisma (he likely will accept the QO), that leaves 2 gaurd slots to get to 15.  We have a TO on E'Twuan Moore and Dooling can probably be had.

I kind of hate to see Sean Williams go (we have a really cheap TO on him).  I would probably keep Williams and let Moore go, adding Dooling for the veteran gaurd depth.  I feel like replacing Moore is pretty easy in any draft but Williams still has a chance to be decent big and thereby harder to come by, certainly at that price.

Things are shaping up nicely so quickly. If Ray and Green return, the 1 big weakness will be getting another center. I would prefer Stiemsma over Wilcox. The C's need some more lumber and shot blocking behind KG.

All the way. Pietrus is a necessity, as is Wilcox if we can't keep Stiemer (my preference). Can't believe JJJ is on anyone's roster... I'm not sure he's strong/talented enough to do anything in the D-league. He's awful.

i think melo does what steamer did...making steamer odd man out. like wilcox on offense a little more...

green to me is near being done...ray is the swing...he returns...great...if not...i want to see where danny goes...

We're still a jump shooting offense team and that worries me come playoff time.  We still don't have a low post presence on the blocks and we have not addressed the rebounding issue.
