Conspiracy Theory (Truly Veteran Move By Ray Allen)

My conspiracy theory is that Ray is pulling a truly veteran move.  He has no intention of going to the Heat, but is letting the FA pool dry up before he declares his intent to keep his talents in Boston. Thus, leaving the Heat to dig for scraps.

Jackie MacMullan said something ro the effect of 'if you think Ray is staying, you haven't been paying attention" right after we were knocked out of the playoffs. She feels strongly about him being gone.

i think ray made his mind up when he was benched and his name was floated again during trade rumors. I don't think he ever intended to return...

i think boston knows this and they are offering more cash, trade exceptions, etc as to say we did all we could to keep ray...

I also think danny is/has been in contact with whoever else he wants to take ray's place
