I'm not convinced that he's a good fit.  Slow (will struggle with our defensive schemes), injury prone, and not a particularly good defender.  Don't get me wrong, I think he's a very good player overall, but I don't think he's worth the money he's going to cost.  In 2008-2009, he played 31 games.  In 2009-2010, he played 71 games.  2010-2011, 32 games.  2011-2012, 47 games.  If that's what we're looking for, we might as well sign JO for the vet min instead of paying 6+ mill per year.

The first answer is yes we should if we could. The second answer is no, we can't afford to pay him 3mil much less 6-7!! Where do you think we will be getting that money from? He isn't taking anything we are able to offer BAE or Vet Min...

Again, where are we getting the money? Only way is a sign and trade and then we'd have to find takers... other than that we have NOTHING to offer even some of the worse bigs... all we have is BAE and vet min...

Actually, I'd rather have Krystic than Bass due to size and position, so I'd give him Bass' money.

I'd offer Wilcox the BAE, or give it to STeimsma if I had to.

But all three of those guys would be better fits and value at the Center spot than Kaman would.

I was obvoiusly referring to a S&T. We must do something big if we wanna win this year, or we loose an opportunity to rebuild.

Anyway i'd like to package Bradley+Bass+picks, not a bad offer... But i don't know what we can obtain with that.

Krstic will be enough at starting center for me.
Kaman is a serious injury risk.
If he's fully healthy he's one of the better bigs in the league and would give us a legit post presence but he's just always injured.

I think Kristic and him are close enough in terms of ability that I'd be happier with Kristic, who is a better shooter and passer, and already knows our team.

Not enough money - spent the MLE on Jason Terry. Not enough left for Kaman.
